Do you have a Chip Resetter for the Epson Expression XP-430?
Does it work with the original epson cartridge 296 for the Epson Xp-231?
whats the reason for the wax? is it to keep ink from coming out there when its filled with ink?
Also I assume that hole is closed to force the ink into all the chambers. Is that right?

Instead of a drill bit use a soldering iron. It makes a much neater hole and you have no burs getting in the cartridge and blocking the jets.
We don't have that at home 🙄
I thought that too . But what about the rubber plugs how would measure the dimension of the hole initiated .
@@henryradulescu5089 you use a micro soldering tip then gradually make the hole the size you want. Or just put some hot glue over the hole as that peels off easy when it needs refilling again.

Greetings! Seems like a lot of B.S. I am quite competent with tech stuff ( 1.) bought the pin setter that indicates green for Elpson 288 XL cartridges that have been refilled with ink and have yet to have the printer recognize the full level of the cartridge. What gives?!?

Epson has stated putting a wetness detector on their cartridges so if you let it get so low the chip resetter will reset the chip but the wetness detector has been activated and it cannot be reset. So you must be careful not to let the carthridges get too low.

On the 200-I cartridge for the XP-100 and XP-200 printers this doesnt work, the chamber he is filling in the video doesnt connect to the chamber that flows ink to the print heads. The ink just sits there but prints nothing and the little windod shows no ink also. I made another hole to the lower chamber and filled that with ink, works perfect instantly!

We didn't even see a test print.
For the price of the compatible inks these days it's hardly worth buying the bulk inks.
You can literally buy 24 cartridges now for £5 (Compatibles) just as good as Epson.

I don't know how much money I wasted on ink, I paid over $35 for black T252 XL size of 3 regulars last years, printed 6 set of tax return I barely have enough ink to print this year and printer notify me I'm out of ink, I remember something fishy about printer maker put a memory chip on ink so you can only print certain times no matter you print 1 word or thousand when times limited reached printer would lie to you out of ink so I google and find the resetter from Ebay seller; inkjetofficesupply, took 3 days to arrive and it works, all my inks are full tank instead of empty

Epson printers are ravenous ink eaters. Even when you put in a new cartridge once it gets done with the head cleaning cycle you will see it has only 90% left. So each cleaning cycle is 10% ink. So the more frequently you print between cleaning cycles the more the ink goes into your printing rather than head cleaning. After buying many Epson printers in my life I've finally had it with them. I will NEVER buy Epson again! Not because of the quality of print but their inability to design print heads that require cleaning less often. Canon and HP waste way less ink than Epson.
