The complete chassis is the ground point. U can plug multimeter cable it anywhere in the chassis for testing

hi, connect the speaker as per respective output like left to left speaker and right to r ch, center to center and rear channel to rear channel ,

for Subwoofer use sub pre out from amp and use RCA Y type cable ( one side male for amp and other end two female for subwoofer)

if your subwoofer does't have the lfe port ,so then use left and right speaker output from amp to subwoofer and subwoofer output to left and right speakers

I have Sherwood AV 7050R the right channel is not working and also when you turn on the power it goes to shutdown the power of amplifier What is rhe cause of problem?

may be right channel gone bad, without checking it we can't tell the shutdown cause because protection or immediate shutdown is the common symptoms for all amps. we only search and rectify the faulty section . fault may be anywhere in the unit. i hope u understand what i trying to say
