Thatâs a great question! I think you do need some type of representation either an agency or a family leader because you do need to audition to become a host.

What if you have a music channel and just want to live stream music w/o showing your face like a playlist?
There are several DJs itâs best if you show yourself either on a mask or just part of you bc they donât want to think you just set it up and left.

Gifts are the way to be monetized. Some beginner contracts require hours only, however that is typically the first 3 months while you build up your audience.
What about paying taxes? How much do you know about whether or not that income has to be reported . Specifically the USA
We get paid in digital currency so unless you pull the money out itâs my understanding you donât have to claim it. Whatever you do pull out of the app you provide those statements from payoneer and your bank to your CPA. This is my first time filing since I started in May so more to come.

I was accepted by Mico but not bigo yet
Try going live to see if any agency leaders come by and ask around. Also try going into other people's lives and asking around as well. It is all a networking game. Someone will know someone who owns an agency or is part of an agency and they can set you up with an audition. Good luck!

Welcome to bigo!! Yes sign up for the PKs. They are the best ways to get beans. Are you with an agency or a family? They each have different types of events and event gifts.

What about playing music on BIGO which is protected by copyright? You can't do it on youtube, but what about BIGO?
That is a great question and I honestly do not know the correct answer because I played music all the time and I have friends who DJ on the app so I think it is okay.

so if you signed up with a talent agency on bigolive that didn't offer that base salary, but want to start over with the agency you're with that offers that guaranteed salary, are you able to delete your current bigolive id and start over with talenture? thanks
Hmm good question I wouldnât think so since you are already a user of the app but there are lots of apps you could try like Likee or Mico and work with an agency there. If youâve already started and have a following starting over wouldnât be ideal. While the salary is nice it is only the first few months while you get started then itâs up to you to use your networking to get the gifts needed to successfully make money. Forming alliances is the best way to do that IMO. What is your bigo id? Iâll come find you!

I'm sorry to hear that. Have you tried setting up trades with other hosts?
Iâm glad that you are able to make money on there but a lot of the reviews for the app are pretty terrible and claim that it is becoming more like a soft porn/cam girl infested site which is not everyone cup of tea. A lot of people claiming they got kicked off for being normal while girls who twerk and wear their underwear get to stay on the app.
Omg tell me about it. You have to be very careful who you follow and who you partner with and make sure to block and report inappropriate behavior . The app has become better at banning accounts that donât follow guidelines but of course there are those who like to twerk. I donât want to make my money that way so I avoid those accounts and interact with people like me. We throw virtual raves and hang out and have fun! Thanks for watching and commenting!

Goodness I hope not! đ€Ł Iâm not the best at math and numbers. But I did put around $20,000 in over the course of a year but my profit was $34,000. So in the end worth it!

Yes bigo takes 60 percent of the gifts youâre gifted and the conversion rate works in their favor as well.
How do you grow your audience?

I use a CPA to do my taxes. If your agency pays you, they will provide tax form. I get paid directly from bigo so I provide bank statements and payoneer statements to my CPA.
