I developed acute kidney failure due a benign cyst (7.5cm) in 2021. I was 70 yo. In the following 18 months I had two abdominal CTs and one thoracic plus three nuclear CTs where I was injected with small amount of nuclear material plus numerous x-rays. In late 2022 I was diagnosed with MGUS. No one in my family has this. My identical twin doesn’t have this (we share to some degree the same medical problems). When I asked my hematologist if radiation from the CTs and nuclear scans could have caused it, he did not know, and said it was probably just bad luck. I disagree.

With the exposure of so many scans it is quite likely to be related

Background radiation and airline flights are not a concentrated beam like in CT scan

Neither is an atomic bomb blast from 1945 a concentrated beam of X-Rays like in a CT Scan. They're operating on so many assumptions, it's appallingly unscientific.

Improvement of diagnosis won't help you when you get cancer as well.:(
