I like to pre plan my sets like the pros do, then claim I'm just reading the crowd
That plan only works if the crowd is feeling your prepared set 😁
Yooo I love you bro you good real Dj talking....Happy new year to you and your family 👪 🙏.
Thanks a lot Tlm for the STK, I can relate to a lot of things you mentioned in this video 🎧🔥💯
👍🏾👍🏾
Talk yo sh&t b. This is game. Some people think we (djs) just wake up and go run tracks. It’s not surgery but it is an art. Appreciate the video🔥💯🙏🏿
For sure!👊🏾
I like doing both. But I have prepared sets that work so once the lane is built it is smooth sailing. But KNOW your music. It is so important, good video sir
So true. Knowing your music makes things so much easier
thank you sir...good stuff.
My pleasure👍🏾👍🏾
This is True 🔥
Dope platform
Holy shit bro this is fire yeah I like the idea of a podcast man would love to just listen to you while working or something like that nice vid man.
Im a beginner dj I have done 6 parties so far also dj twice at a sports bar and every set was free style but I been wanting to do prepare sets. Thanks for the video
And what is the reason you want to start doing prepared sets? Did freestyle not work for you?
Class, great job🍔🍟🥩🍕🍺🍕 Perfect done. There will be time to come to me.
I like your video. You a good teach.1####
Thanks!
I love freestyle and I also have some prepared tracks (mash-ups). When practicing my set I will make notes in the comment section of my software
Always a good thing to take notes👍🏾
I Love to freestyle.. But a couple prepared tracks doesn't hurt
Indeed!
Do DJs have to know how to read lips when they have on headphones and somebody has a request for a song
No, when I have my headphones on, it means that I’m working. If people want t ask me something they will have to wait until I can come to them.
People don’t walk into the kitchen of a restaurant to ask the chef a question. When a DJ has headphones on he/she is in the kitchen so let them work ;)
A "Do not play" list? wtf man?? That's crazy!!
Yeah, I think this only happened to me once, but it was weird ;)
That being said, I can understand how certain songs are off limits in certain situations. If I’m opening up for an artist, I won’t play songs by that artist. Or if I play before a DJ who has music out, I won’t play releases by that DJ.
Or if I would play for a client, and the client has a specific song or genre that they don’t want at their event. That’s fine.
