I grew up in the 70s-80s. The old linens & towels back them were SO MUCH BETTER. They wore like iron without fading & pilling. Microfiber sheets now are 💩 but those old Sears percale sheets would literally last your lifetime.
Omg, don’t get me started on microfiber sheets!! The worst creation! & I totally agree w/ you on the vintage ones.✨
Hi! Just FYI It’s pronounced shen-kneel.. instead of Chanel.
I’ve learned so much from you ! So glad I found you!
Omg, thank you for telling me the pronunciation! 😂 I’ve been saying it wrong for life. lol💕 thank you for watching!✨💕✨
"KId" is a type of leather. Soft. That's why the old saying is "handle with kid gloves".
Oh neat! I did not know that, thanx for sharing.💕
Great tips. Thanks
I did want to mention however that kid is not a glove company. It's a type of leather, made from the skin of young goats, otherwise known as kids.
Thank you for watching! & Thank you for letting me know, that makes sense now😆
I was going to mention that but you beat me to it! Kid leather is typically from goat. Betsy Clark was very popular in the early to mid seventies. Same time as Holly Hobbie. As a child then my choice was Holly Hobbie. Love selling Betsy Clark
Very nice video. But the chenille linens you mentioned is pronounced cheneel, not to be confused with Chanel. Until you started describing the texture, I had no idea what you were talking about, and I am very familiar with chenille. Just a heads up. Again, very nice video.
Sorry, yes I think you are the 3rd or 4th person to tell me.😆 I’ve been pronouncing it wrong forever!😂😆

My husband is an obsessive vintage pen collector. Very good advice! He has zero shame spending 100 bucks on a great pen when he finds one.
Thank you for information about gloves. I love them but didn’t realise that they sell for a lot
Right?! Always look them up! You never know what they might be worth💕
Thanks so much! I learned a lot🙂
Awesome!! Thank you for watching😁💕
I’m going to an estate sale tomorrow and it is an absolute vintage time capsule!! I’m so excited prolly get up and be in line at 5am so I can get in first 😂 they have vintage sheet sets in the packages!!! And just everything under the sun! 🎉
Omg, take me with you!!!🧡💕😃💕🧡
I’d be there at 5, too. 😂

Awe, thank you so much! I appreciate you💕✨

I never heard of Lisa Frank. I sell mainly clothing and shoes and I am changing it up to go into other categories so every brand helps.
Glad to help! Yes, Lisa Frank can sell for a TON, keep a look out.👀✨💕😁
Bibles remain the highest selling book. I don't think that will ever change.
Super informative video thanks so much
No problem! Thank you for watching!💕✨
Great list!!
Thank you!💕
I've had good luck with nicer brands of glassware. I think a lot of them don't get listed on ebay because people don't want to ship them, thus driving up the price of what does get listed. Also a lot of it isn't signed, so it's harder to identify.
True! If you don’t mind shipping it, it’s almost always a great return💕
Glassware is in my top favorite items to resell! It does especially well around the holidays. People LOVE IT. This year I even did well with unmarked stuff. Good keywords for style and appearance are key if you aren't sure that it's actually vintage.
@@ImazABoss That's encouraging. Thanks for the tips.
I just discovered your channel and I’m really enjoying it. Great tips!
Yay, thank you so much!🧡
Great video.
Thank you so much!🧡
Awesome info and love your channel! The "If it dills your pickle" comment let me know I was on the right channel😂😂😂
lol, thank you! Yeah, that’s a common phrase I use, glad you dig it! 😆😂
Awww your a cutie,so fun talking about vintage and more fun shopping for it! What state do you ship from? Ill be back😊
Thank you so much! I’m in Pennsylvania💕 yes I love estate sales & vintage!!!
Thank you! I find a challenge with valuing brooches vintage jewellery really challenging or I have to pay 150 for a valuation ! Yes bibles are good but I don’t sell them bad karma lololol
lol, yeah I get it totally. The jewelry can be a real challenge! I mostly pick up ones that are signed to be honest.😆
Yes to religious items! It's something people who are religious love to have access to. People collect and appreciate that resellers are out there doing the leg work. I'm Jewish, and I sell items from ALL religions. It's one of my favorite things to discover. I have a Catholic porcelain platter and a beautiful Muslim silk plush prayer mat listed currently. I learn so much doing this as well.
WOW, when I saw the Betsey Clark stationary, it brought back such an incredible childhood memory, I had that!!!! It was something that I completely forgot about. Funny story, my husband kept bugging me a for a lamp, I was thrifting and found this old brass lamp for $5. I hated it but knew he would be happy. I get the lamp home and turn it over and it was branded, can't remember the brand right now, but I comped it and listed it immediately, sold it for $140 within 2 weeks, I couldn't believe it. A pain to ship but well worth it. Have a nice weekend everyone!
Awe! So glad to revive a sweet childhood memory💕 & nice find on the lamp! Yes, I’m constantly surprised by what some items sell for😆 thank you for watching!
Thank you for the comment helping each other … in it together!
That’s right girl! ✨💕🙌
Just an FYI - it's pronounced "sha-NEAL". My grandma had many.
Someone else just told me that as well!😆😅😂 thank you! I apparently how been pronouncing it wrong forever.
