Exploring The New Jersey Pine Barrens To Find Exotic Fish Species!!

In this video I continued my hunt for new species for my fishing lifelist. For this video I headed to one of the most unique ecosystems in the north eastern United States , the New Jersey Pine Barrens. Despite the heat waves we decided to do some scouting and exploring and we ended up catching 2 new species!! But please note there are certain species that I mention in this video that cannot be targeted and if caught by accident they must be handled with care and immediately released. This is because the species I mention are protected in the state of New Jersey so please take care!

It’s a super cool place! Can be difficult to navigate at times but I still found it enjoyable.

It’s near Brown Mills NJ. A small swampy runoff of Lebanon Lake. That’s at least roundabout where I found Banded Sunfish. I can’t exactly remember the other spot I was at.
