Doing another segment with the gas versions of these HD’s and 0-60 times would be icing on the cake.

Only Rams with 6.7L from 2019 to current day and Ram/Jeep with 3.0L EcoDiesel from 2014 to current day are of concern with the CP4 pump. I've got a 2012 Ram 3500 and it uses a CP3 pump (and no DEF). The CP3 has three pumping elements instead of two. It's heavier, but it's pretty much bullet-proof. The CP4 only has two pumping elements and is a lighter unit.
Something else to add...failure of the CP4 units generally occur around the 100,000 mile mark. One thing that stands out that I've noticed is that with the CP4 (and probably any pumping system) is to replace the fuel filter as impurities can cause failure in the pumps. Also ultra low sulfur diesel is suspected as a cause by not providing enough lubrication. Since these pumps are under high pressure, impurities can really impact them. I would say change your filters at regular intervals...and maybe sooner than recommended.
