Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari today said that 26 Green Express Highways will be made before 2024. Responding to Rajeev Shukla's question on the fund availability of NHAI, Gadkari said there are enough funds.

Mr Gadkari is one minister our posterity will be grateful to. The opportunities that will be unlocked by the creation of these roads at such a rapid pace will transform our country beyond anybody’s imagination. Add to that the significant addition to the ports, airports and railway . This will unleash the potential that lays hidden in the hinterlands. Who knows from where what wisdom might come. Hopefully we will get to see people from humble backgrounds creating wonders in all spheres that will amaze the whole world. The potential is within our people. We just have to allow them to blossom. If and when that happens , the world will look up to us for leadership and the erstwhile glory of our land will be restored . President Kennedy once famously said, It is not America that built its roads, it is the roads that built America . The same remark will become true for our country too.

Mr. Gadkari has done real work and most importantly taking timeliness into consideration. Even opposition respects him.
As per ICRA Road connectivity will be done by 2028, delay of 6yrs from deadline of 2022. Presently 60% project has been tendered & only 23% constructed by March 2022.

Dear Gadkari sir, please do something about the poor state of inner city roads, especially in Bangalore and Chennai. Even a little rain makes it impossible to drive and walk on. Every single citizen of India uses the road everyday. It's something that everyone is unhappy with, across states and party lines. Please do something about this.
Those are under control of local City Corporations, not the Central NHAI (National Highway Authority of India).
NHAI and everything in its domain is his business.

A few point 1. salries are not paid on date. paid after 15 days , since 2 yeras
2. Even no roads are laid since 3 years
3. Getting loans exceed limits
4. no law court order continues violating
5 . in these three years 3 lakh crores loans, which not even a bit road has been laid.
6. no industries, most of the companies change their location out of Andhra Pradesh

Please build more and more biogas and sewage gas plants, to reduce imports of oil and gas, and evwn fertilizers. An intelligent network of sewage lines connected to biogas plants would reduce water pollution by helping process waste.

Actually. Nirmala Sitharam has also done a real good job. Since she took over, she has significantly reduced the NPA, kept the balance of payments in control, put a lid of CAD, foreign reserves, etc. Finance ministers don't get to show off like building highways.

Bluetooth and GPS technology has been there from 2001 even in countries like Thailand and Malaysia. We are bringing this in 2024. Better late than never
Gps technology has been here almost same time we talk about GNSS-based electronic tolling solutions which is used in Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, Belgium, Russia, the Czech Republic, and in Bulgaria only for heavy vehicles It is a new technology India is far ahead most countries ..
@@iamshibukc boss I have travelled in unmanned toll plazas in Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia across 2001 to 2005. I'm not a techie so I can't elaborate on the technical part. We just had to install a white dongle on the dashboard. Whenever we passed through a toll gate, the dongle would flash a red/blue light and give a beep. The only thing was that the dongle would charge the toll to the credit card linked to it.
Yes in Bangkok within the city, the elevated toll roads were manned and one could use either cash or a smartpass at the exit.
From 2001, whenever I have travelled in Dubai, the toll gates have been unmanned. From 2G to 5G the technology they use has changed but it has always been zip zap zoom.

@@12345ngb here we are using same fast-track which auto deduct amount while we travel through the toll plaza .here we are taking about totally removing toll plaza .now almost 97% people use Fastrack card which automatically deduct amount . Now we are talking about with out toll plaza .gps calculate the km u travel and take the payment when u exits from the main road .. now what happens when u enter the toll plaza they deduct a fixed amount . After this new system amount deducted based on the km u run
