I think I must have listened 300 times to her rendition of this beautiful song . She is absolutely mesmerizing .The best female voice I ever heard and I am 75. There are no words to express her excellence.

What is even more amazing than her voice and looks is that she was only 16 years old when she recorded this. How can anyone that young have such skill and control of her voice? The only explanation is that she was born to sing. It comes so easy and seems effortless for her to go up and down the scale and add the emotion into the song...talent way beyond her years and that voice is as smooth as silk
I have probably watched her sing Hallelujah 50 times. It impacts me every time. She has the very unique and rare ability to really melt a heart, young and old, man and woman. She is not only stunning of course but is a complete breath of fresh air as well. She glows virtue and innocence, (who can find a virtuous woman for her price is above rubies), but her presence is so captivating and memorizing. That voice that not only melts you like butter but she can so emotionally move people. I hope her parents keep good people around her; her producer, any staff, agent, etc. She will obviously grow and mature but I hope she does not leave her roots and get ruined by people who can take advantage of a young talent like this.

Lucie, I really enjoyed your absolute first time hearing Lucy. You said you thought you fell in love with her. Well, this was one of the first videos of hers I watched and I'd have to say I fell in love with her too. You were completely speechless. What I love about Lucy is her clean lyrics (you can actually understand the words), the depth and smoothness of her voice, and her beautiful vibrato that can just go on and on and on. Plus, as you said, she makes it look effortless. I was completely hooked after this one and "Memory". I'm way over the hill, been playing and listening to music for a long time, and she's very close to the top in my estimation. (I know this reaction is 6 months old but it popped up again on my CZcams page. I could not pass it up.)

Lucy started singing at the age of 7 and has had the same voice coach ever since .She was introduced to award winning songwriter and record company owner Chris Broom at 13.He said he was immediately able to see that she had the potential to become one of the greatest vocalist of all time and that she had the rare ability to bring the audience into the song.(As you just experienced) He asked her to sing one of his songs which she did it is called "One Day" It is on her premier Album .At 14 Lucy entered the Voice Kids UK and was a semi finalist after which Chris offered her a record contract. After the key change where she is belting, her voice goes from the attic to the basement (falsetto/head voice all the way down to chest voice) all in a smooth slide really showing the depth of her voice and the emotion she can pack into her singing. Lucie, welcome to the club of Lucy Thomas fans. This is her most viewed video (up into multi-million) and it's one of the first of hers that I viewed. Some reactors have described 'locking eyes' with those blue eyes. Another reactor described how some sing and some perform the music. Lucy definitely performs. She seemed to really be into this piece. Her vibrato pierces right through me. It is perfectly undulating, stays right on key (as her voice also does), and tailing off at the end of the verses is very beautiful. If you go to her page you'll find lots of very pleasing videos.

This young Lady is a God's given Wonder for so many souls, depressed, lonely peoples and she is so talented with her abilities of her voice. There is no day for me without hearing her songs. When I lost my husband there was no happy ness listen music again...but Lucy gave me back this joy with her heartwarming expression of her singing. Hope you and so many others feel similar. When you listen to more of Lucy's songs, you will see that her presentation and voice will change to match the type of song. "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" (rock) sound is different from her show pieces like "Starlight" and "At Last" Jazzy. Also a little country with "10,000 Hours". After listening to Lucy and her sister Martha "The Prayer" or "The Climb", then watch "Smile" where her Mom joins the girls. You will see where their voices come from. From 14 to 19 years old the voice just gets better and better.

She is now 19 and her voice has matured beautifully - much, richer, fuller and her control is supreme. She specialises in pop ballads, classical crossovers (like The Prayer which always brings a tear to the eye 😊), and songs from musicals. Her cover of "Somewhere" from West Side Story will give you an idea of her range and abilities - simply beautiful 🙂

I ABSOLUTELY Adore the 50s 60s and 70s, and met some wonderful entertainers, I have to put LUCY on a par with the wonderful Barbara Strisand, her voice is ABSOLUTELY ASTONISHING, Lucy is right at the top of the tree, in ENTERTAINMENT, not far behind her is young Martha, a great talent in her own right, they really have a very very talented family. ❤️❤️🙏🙏xxx

You should try Kaylee Rogers and killiard school choir performing a little different version of Hallelujah.. It is now my favorite xmas song. It is a school for special needs kids.
Very beautiful! She can absolutely sing beyond comparison. However, after hearing the live recording by Emma Kok, it is indeed a perfect fabricated studio production but nothing more. Emma Kok's voice is not as perfect in a live recording, but she really touches your heart with this song❤. Emma does not act, she lives the song.
Living the song is Lucy's forte! Lucy does have live recordings and the voice is the same. Also, since age 16, when "Hallelujah' was made, her voice has developed and matured into a thing of beauty - almost 20 now. Emma is backed by a full orchestra, but doesn't have the strength and lovely tones of Lucy Thomas at about the same age.
