Now we are in the processing of raising the peachicks on the homestead! So follow us on this journey...I will update their growth, so STAY TUNED!!
The crazy thing is we have raised peachicks in the past here at Cog Hill Farm & Homestead, & they turned out to be beautiful peacocks / peafowl, but we had to get rid of them bc the peacocks would get into the gardens & eat all the vegetables & also would beat up some of our chickens! So this time, we are planning on building a coop just for peacocks, so stay tuned for that video, on how we built a peacock coop!!

So Precious seeing Mary Carl trying to get a hummingbird land on her. How many children have that kind of patience and foresight? VERY FEW!!
Absolutely ADORABLE…. You can see from a young age that she was meant to be a aviary lover♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️😊
The sleeping babies are too cute 🥰
Mary Carl is so sweet and patient! I think if she keeps doing it, She'll get one eventually! I hope she did! Lol. Cute baby Pea Chicks... 🙏🙏❤❤🇺🇸🇺🇸😁
Oh Mary Carl is so sweet!
MaryCarl was such a cute 🐥🍼! She's a beautiful young lady now.
Mary Carl is the coolest kid (young lady now). The Peachicks are so cute
She should hold a small hummingbird feeder and that should draw them to her.

Omg do the pea chicks really sleep like that? I would be panicking
Yea they sleep like corpses
I hope that all those baby chicks do ok and that they grow up to be nice peacocks.
Was those peachicks Scott and Ozella?
Am always wanted to rear peacock but in mauritius it's very costly don't know how
I just got 4 peachicks. Unfortunately one died dont know why. Ive been keeping them warm and feeding millets. Some one plz temme How to care peachicks. What do they feed on
Peachicks are not near as hardy as a chicken or duckling....we had 3 out of 6 die a few months ago, for no apparent reason....we feed ours a non medicated chick starter. They do not like the cold either, but you said yours are warm, so that shouldn't be an issue.....good luck!!!
Peas are just as hardy they need more protein. You need to feed them feed that has at least 20% protein, higher if you can find it. You can also supplement with hard boiled eggs and cat food. Takes a lot of energy to grow those fancy feathers.
Thanks for the info Amy Softa !!!!
Sad to take from mama and same for babies.
Nahi
*Peafowl
he could've said peachicks
umm that is not how you catch peachicks, they may not trust you and it will cause the peahen to panic.
like baby duck
Has she ever been successful at that??
2 thousand da ka one piece ka
please be more gentle... those peachicks are still fragile.
This is not a peacock..
They are not the most intelligent birds; however to keep them safe, they also need at least 8 foot height in their pens, basically 80 square feet per bird. Yes, they become a meal for a fox, etc but they also can fly when older. Their pens need to be kept clean; the mortality rate is high if they are kept with chickens, turkeys or ducks.
@@cwbyjnkies they r intelligent....
