This is a great series. I also love small cameras and have a lot of them :) I agree with your assessment, on balance GoPros are still the sweet spot. I prefer the 11 over the 12 because I like getting GPS info in the metadata. For photos I shoot .gpr, which when taken into Lightroom offers a pretty solid file. I say this as someone who also owns larger formats too. Insta360 has been the most disappointing. They get a lot of quality of life features down, but the workflow is a pain (no I don’t want to use their app). The Ace Pro promised so much, yet the lens and 50 megapixel output is awful for photos.
That’s all pretty accurate to my thoughts. Funny how if you listen to most CZcamsrs you’d think the exact opposite. Just got the Go3s to play with, not expecting anything great, hoping to be surprised.
@@takephotos I have the Go 1 and 2. Wanted them to work better than they did. Again the app is what really spoils it for me, as I prefer a different workflow.
