I loved the recipe, but what if I want to make as a zipra cake, should I divide the batter and add the matcha to one part, Or can I use the original recipe and divide the batter and add 2 tbsp of matcha to one part, as I saw this idea before
Hi Joanne! Thz for sharing such beautiful yummy cake. I saw this video today & hv straight away decided to try it out. Everything was ok, following recipe exactly, except for Matcha reduced to 8gm n cake flour increased to 64gm, with still a total of 80gm for dry ingredients (this was b4 I read the noted written below). Baking time & temperature followed & monitored closely. Cake surface happened to crack in the centre during the ending baking time of 140C. I immediately reduced temp to 120C to avoid further cracklines. Luckily it stopped cracking right there. Question is:- Is it the 140C temp that I should reduce or the duration of 30mins? Pls advise so that I can reach to that perfection too. TQ! I’ve taken photos of the cake, but I should I post it here to show u?
I’d say this is very crappy. The instructions aren’t clear at all. For eg, I’d expect the exact ml or g or each ingredient! Like in other well made videos. Definitely DONT follow this!

can I replace cream of tartar with vinegar?
Cream of tartar helps with the egg whites. I don't think vinegar has the same effect. Wouldn't try it.
