This sounds like something you'd play at the end of the world. No bang, no final clash, just a quiet ending

  • @samuelcaballero9966

I love that big band classics are still heard by our generation

  • @juliac-1379

I used to slow dance to this song with someone. It feels so bittersweet hearing this without her.

  • @GeneSavage

I've heard people ask why the records of the 50s and 60s got that lush sound, and this is literally the answer. No digital reverb, they'd have huge halls or echo chambers, sometimes complicated tunnels, miked and mixed in with the original source sound to give it this dreamy quality.

  • @objectjon9015

That echo adds such a unique sound to this cover, very neat idea

I know a trumpet player who always plays this song to warm up. We’re not super close, and he’s still in my life, but hearing this somehow still makes me sad and nostalgic for hearing him play.

I can understand why Marvel chose this song to be Peggy and Steve’s. It’s so peaceful and serene that makes it almost dreamlike

    I need a 1 hour loop of this ♡

  • @wealllikeitsomilkit4301

The droning of the cars/trucks above the echo and ambient wind whirring about.. its just perfect

Me and my girlfriend have a long distance relationship, and after all the 20 hour journeys to see each other, I feel like this song encapsulates the feeling of finally seeing each other in person perfectly. It is both relief, bliss and calm.

“Congratulations. You have beaten the final boss.”

  • @ShaedTheMoron

Heard it once, then heard it twice...

  • @i-smoke-weed-TW

You need to make a series of this. I would listen to it everyday.

  • @Tartleturtle

this sounds so lonely, yet so surene and peaceful.

  • @alessandrobellucci8701

    I miss her so much

  • @nayelhimurcia4070

This was the first thing I decided to listen to at the start of the new year..

  • @ItsHennyBtw

If I hear that shit in a fucking tunnel ima assume death itself is down there bro

  • @snizzletookgaming

I love how his silhouette is extremely brightly lit so it appears as if he's some otherworldly being when he plays.

  • @diqital_aviator

I love this so much. Nobody around. Peace. It truly sounds like, an end.. And that Reverb is perfect. Not echoey, but REVERBEY and a crisp clear sound - without interference. And I feel like this music is so forgotten and nostalgic because it's so 'un-modern', but it really wasn't that long ago. Less than 100 years and sounds like both older and newer. It's like a generation we lost.. A generation we forgot, a time.. that didn't matter apart from history.
