- n this video we will be introducing a new crawler competition. we are excited about this one. we made this game and it turned out to be a ton of fun to compete with one friend or a whole group. we wanted it to be simple enough so even the little guys could understand all the rules and still be very competitive for all skill levels. we hope you like it as much as we do. please let us know what you think down in the comments. below are the rules for crawler battles
crawler battles rules
leader choses the line
leader makes it and the follower doesn't
leader gets 1 point
leader makes it and the follower makes it
follower gets 1 point
leader doesn't make it
leader loses 1 point and follower takes the lead
bonus points: +3
if the leader chooses a line and doesn't make it
the follower has the chance to try that line to get 3 points
however if the follower does take the chance and fails
the follower then loses 1 point
reverse rules:
reverses are allowed with no point penalties however
once the full crawler passes the start gate they are no longer
able to reverse threw the gate if they reverse threw the start gate at that point they lose that line
you may reverse as much as you need while between the start and finish gate
rollovers:
any rollovers at any time once you pass the start gate is automatic fail on that line
winner is determined by ether a set time limit or a total point limit - you choose
in a competition style with multiple 2 person groups use a bracket system
with a time limit for each 2 person group. the winner of each 2 person group then moves to the next bracket
starting at 0 points repeat until a winner is chosen

Love the showdowns! Have yall ever thought of doing the bonus +2 ,-1 so its still a 3 point swing, but it give more incentive to do the bonus so you can take points away. Keep up the great work guys!

You guys should add a timer for each line, and a taller tripod for the camera when doing 1/10th scale. Good video 👍

Cut some tennis balls in half, great cones and they stay better cause theyre rubbery.@RockRehabRc

@@RockRehabRc Ya, once in a blue moon I have an idea or two :) When my Fusion gets here today I will be putting $1.25 hair buns in it for Tire Inserts. $5 for all 4! it's said, the traction is way better, but the sidehilling isn't the best with them, but for $5 figured I'd give it a shot.

Hahaha I absolutely love the 1/18 scale, but the 10th is crazy fun too! Just not as budget friendly.....
I LOVE MY 1/18 ascent, had to do some modding, but it's insane now! The Fusion gets here tomorrow!

I wish someone would compare the rtr fusion vs the fusion se and fusion pro.
So the redcat fusion has the hobbywing fusion se motor. The fusion pro is a little smoother on the throttle and is a bit faster.. thanks for the video suggestion. @basin rc has couple crawlers with the fusion pro we may be able to get that comparison done for you in the near future!
