Greetings all, in this video I build and give my opinion on the 1/72 First to Fight SDKFZ 251/4.

For the rubber tyres on tracked vehicles I use a fine tipped fibre-tip pen (mine are marked fineliner). That might also e an easier option for converting the crosses. I use a white gel rollerball pen for white dots and for adding a white patch under a home-printed clear transfer. Not sure silver is the right colour for machine guns, those I have seen in real life are virtually black, especially looked at from 75 yards away (normal model viewing distance being about three feet). Nice work though, thanks for posting.

That sounds like a really good technique for the road wheels, I might have to experiment with that! I think my machine guns are a bit too silver, I have been using more panel liner to make them dark but keep a slight metallic effect, but I have also contemplated painting them a decent gun metal. Great job on the early war halftrack. Careful using too much silver on the track faces. The rectangular blocks are rubber cleats, so no silver on them. Super work on the kit figure. Top notch work all around.
Keep having fun.

PS: I'm no fan of molded on tools. I'd sand them off and make new ones.
