Sigourney Weaver is one of the most compelling actresses ever. An absolute powerhouse.
She sure is I absolutely love!!!!! ❤her!!! She’s my favourite!! Actress! Loved her since the 80,s
The ending of the season hits home more then I thought a tv series could. Its Like listening to an experienced domestic violence therapist/counsellor give you permission to lose any feelings of guilt, guilt for staying, guilt for not reporting the abuse, guilt towards your children for making choices they had to live with,,you may have convinced yourself they didn’t experience or witness any abuse, but you are their mother they feel when you hurt.
It was hard to watch at times but I really enjoyed it
Hahaha oh no! She’s sounding Australian in the actual interview!
Awesome. Turned in for Sigourney. And there I found Alycia Debnam-Carey and Frankie Adams two more recent favorites as well. This cast is gold. The kid is doing good work too.
I watch anything with Sygourney Weaver.
Me too!!
I like her because she is so calm and natural.
She is a freaking legend!!!!! ❤
The cast for this show is awesome.
Awesome series my heart is moved to the core ...,. Binged it loved it
She is fantastic in this series
I'm glad, very happy, her hair is long again. She's so beautiful like that. And rejuvenates. The most perfect was the curly hair of 79. Unforgettable. Sweet.
Hi watched 3 episodes. Enjoyed the thrill. Loved it.
Beautiful legend ❤️
This is a brilliant series
This was phenomenal 💯💙
Brilliant series!
As a dude, I was oddly enraptured by it. Down Under was glorious in people and sites.
Sigourney gift. Heaven. Forever young. Playful like a kitten. It is a joy to see her, because she brings joy. Thank you for existing.
Fantastic
So sad, Alien 5 didn’t happen… Sigourney deserved it so much.
Loved her in this show! Sure her accent wasnt perfect, shes a woman in her 70s who has never done a aussie accent and had to learn in a short time, well done her! Especially considering the aussie accent is actually really hard.
Besides the accent though, her acting was SUPERB! I mean WOW , I was an emotional wreck on the last ep.
You will find in thid interview shes had more time learning the accent , but in the show she had a smaller amount of time. Either way, Sigourney Ellen Ripley Weaver, I take my hat off to ya! ❤
She sounds like an expat American in the show, definitely not a born-and-bred Australian.
Exactly, I kept waiting for an explanation to her accent and it never came, then she said the farm was started by a great grandmother or something and I was like "what?, she's supposed to be like a 3rd/4th gen Australian?". I love her but I couldn't buy her accent...
The Aussie accent is one of the hardest accents to do apparently, people either sound brittish or scottish or south African or whatever, listened to a accent specialist and she said the aussie one is one of the hardest. Sigourney is now in her 70s and has played majority of American roles and maybe one or two brittish roles, so it was gonna be hard for her to get the accent perfect, either way her acting was incredible!
@@florenciabalori3625 Yeah, and the flashbacks to her childhood near the farm. It didn't add up.
@@Chartail1 Yeah, I can't honestly think of any foreign actor who has done a perfect Australian accent.
Bruh, Ms. Weaver has gotten so much older, she was my old favorite actress. I didn't know that she's got an accent voice.
Bro just discovered aging
@@angads.9819😂😂
@@angads.9819lol and good aging at that
Is it just me or did she put on an accent for the interview?
Making the effort to pronounce Australia like a locals is classy move. Did seem to be doing that Aussie thing finishing her sentences with a questioning tone a couple of times. Might be she's a bit of a mimic, I've seen Aussies start an interview full Aussie and pick up an American or British inflection by the end.
She's definitely doing a bit of an accent. Weirdly, I think it's actually more Aussie than it is in the series.
@AllGreyEverything probably because after the series was complete she then got the hang of the accent, but during it , it was still eaely days, its a hard accent to do.
Does that make you hate her?
