Today we are seeing the meaning crisis on full display. This is why Jordan Peterson’s message hit many young men, he gave them responsibility. His message, strangely, walked them up to a line and when they stepped across it they went to church for the first time.
I think the thinking point made early on is particularly telling. We’re much too quick to disrespect and devalue the wisdom of our founders.
Benjamin Franklin in his autobiography regarding moralities, he called virtues, mentions the Golden Verses of Pythagorus, if I remember right. He, Franklin, was a partial Presbyterian but seems to have preferred the virtues, less the Biblical dogmatic virtue. So is it possible that he and other of the founders may have laid the foundation of the failure of morality that we see now.
What we see now is an extreme that requires time to reflect on. We should NOT let extreme foolishness decide what level of openness or sanity is good for ALL times. We just need to figure out how best to deal with this time NOW first.
Standing for truth, historical understanding, honest expression of insight into where we are now, is enough, without JUMPING TO ABSOLUTES & CONCLUSIONS (as the left habitually does) is crucial.

So we have a scholar, and then he starts talking about demons to explain shit...
What a nonsensical statement.
that's Christian understanding because it is biblical to say that demons are responsible to some extend a secular way of explaining this is that with the change of the mainline protestant churches becoming more theologically liberal and emphasizing relevant ethics and become more individualistic instead of emphasizing Christian liberty the culture has become more liberal and less Christian. Which in turn hurts the marriage rate hurts the family structure increases divorce.
TLDR you could interpret when he talks about the demons that the churches held back as instead a change in outspoken doctrine to create a more liberty, and self minded society.
edit most worldviews even atheistic and scientific worldviews make assumptions that require faith and don't have evidence for ranging from dark matter(since we don't fully understand how these planets are moving away aside from gravity) to how science even can exist unless the universe could be understood, and be logically consistent
