    In this video we demonstrate what to do in order to fix swivel issues on an UPPAbaby Cruz. These problems generally consist of the front wheels wobbling / wavering (especially when pushing the stroller at a somewhat faster pace) or the wheels feeling as though they lock to the side (get stuck at an angle) when trying to steer the stroller, especially over obstacles. We deal in this video with the use of thicker lubricants for fixing these problems, and discuss mechanical solutions when lubrication fails.

    I’m having real difficulties removing a front wheel - I press the button but just can’t pull out the fork, any tips (one fork removed easy so I know how to remove, it just seems jammed) Thanks!

    I have a babytrend freestyle and the wheels seem to rotate too much, in that they seem to turn to the side while going. makes for really wild ride wobbling back and forth, makes it kind of hard to control

    Hey. Thanks for your videos. I’m wondering if it’s a lost cause if my parts are very rusted??

    • @BarnevognverkstedNo
      @BarnevognverkstedNo  Před 2 lety

      ball-bearings and parts that are rusted together can often be a lost cause unfortunately, but other than this, rust can be removed. :) See this video for methods: czcams.com/video/zlSE0m-iKQ0/video.html :)

      A little bit of lubrication in the front wheel housings might help, at least if you're prepping it for sale :)

    I'm always having problems with the front wheels locking up. First it was a Chicco Liteway and now a KinderKraft Evolution. On the occasion of the Chicco Liteway in 2018 we decided to switch to a Chicco London and the dual wheels never braked (a success). But now, with KinderKraft I don't know which stroller to choose. Would a more expensive stroller guarantee not having this problem of the front wheel locking up? Are dual wheels (Baby Jogger City Mini 2, for example) proof against this kind of problem?

    I have a hauck double pram. The pram always swerves to the left someones the one front wheel comes off the ground. Any idea what the problem might be?

    • @BarnevognverkstedNo
      @BarnevognverkstedNo  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes, I can't be sure without seeing it, but this sort of problem ussualy means that the chassis has symmetry issues like bent bars or loose connection points, unequal suspension, not enough air in one of the tires etc.

    Hi there. I just bought a new Uppababy Cruz V2. I’ve noticed one of the front wheels has a mild mild squeak when turning (swiveling). It’s coming from inside where the axle clicks into the frame. I think I just need a lubricant. I have only taken the stroller out on one test run so far and I really love it. Just want to be sure to make sure the moving parts are maintained to get the most outta this new stroller for a long time. What is your recommendation?

    • @BarnevognverkstedNo
      @BarnevognverkstedNo  Před 4 lety

      Right on, I would try first with silicon spray, and if this doesn't fix it, go for something thicker, like Biral F.I.G. :)

      The Stroller Workshop I’m in the USA. I looked into Biral F.I.G and it’s not possible to get for me. I found a brand called Super Lube and ordered some. Hopefully will be here soon

      If you have front wheel swivel issues (wheels hang to the side or wobble f.ex.) then it's better to use a thicker grease, ideally one that is a little less slippery like White Grease / Food Industry Grease. :)

      It's worth trying. In a pinch, I've used Vaseline in the past, usually mixed with a quick spurt of wd40. :)
