    The thing that amazed me about bus travel in Turkey is that there is wide selection of departure times - all providing excellent service. Not to mention that their bus terminals are huge. Agreed, those long journeys are not fun. Great video.

      Thank you very much! Yes the bus system was quite convenient and priced very well to get anywhere in Turkey.

    You should look into flights too they are actually really cheap throughout turkey!

      Ah yes that is a good point I should look into that. The only thing I don’t like is having to go through getting all the covid tests before every flight.

      @@michaelcbaldwin it takes about 50 minutes between İstanbul and İzmir by plane.

    You had to ride to Antalya by bus, like me in the 90's 36 hours! with sheeps and cows on the road

      I stopped at a few places in between before I got to Antalya so I didn’t have to do a full 36 hour ride like that lol. But Turkey is a massive country so much to explore

    Hello. What is the name of this bus station and bus that you took to Izmir or Selcuk?

    • @michaelcbaldwin
      @michaelcbaldwin  Před 3 lety

      I believe the bus was Istanbul kalesi and the bus station was just the Istanbul bus station, the main one. There are many different bus companies that do that route so you should have no trouble finding a bus at that station

    Eso es nada. En Brasil, Peru y Chile hay viajes de 24, 36 y hasta 52 horas por bus.
