Hi, thanks for this reaction! I’m not sure if you knew this already, but BTS gave a speech(It’s actually their 3rd time they’re been invited to give a speech) at the UN as well! 💜
Edit: Also, from 4:49 BTS adds sign language for fun, dancing and peace into their choreography!

The music video and song itself are another pandemic gift/inspiration from BTS. In the full music video it is fairly clear that it’s about the pandemic but the “teaser” video for the MV it lays it out explicitly. When BTS is about to release a music video they put out a teaser or two in the days leading up to the release. Check out the 30 second teaser for Permission to Dance and freeze the first image when Suga is reading a newspaper. I’m also surprised that nobody mentioned it in the comments, but the moves they were doing at the end were international sign language for “joy”, “dance”, and “peace”. They made choreography that anyone can do, even you Mr. Two Left Feet because *nobody* needs permission to dance. They even had 3 songs in 3 different languages on the top of the Billboard charts at the same time.
