Many people wonder what house flipping during a pandemic is like. Well, flipping houses during a pandemic is definitely a unique experience for me on my latest house flip that I just sold 2 weeks ago.
We had many challenges and setbacks on this house flip during a pandemic. The permitting process took way longer than usual, and the housing market is also behaving in an unexpected way.

I would like to know more about permits. Some homeowners have work done without permits -add recess lighting or add a deck. They don’t call code enforcement, so when it’s time to flip the home how do you determine what needs permits? Do you have to go back to get permits for the work that previous contractors did on a home? In this house the bathroom was recently renovated, how do you determine if it’s up to code?

I have a question. Why do flippers not put in fridges? Isn't it small expense?
I find fridge preference a personal choice. Some people like french door and some like water and ice dispenser. If you put in one that's top of the line with all the features, it could be quite an investment.

The previous contractor should be arrested, and prosecuted. There is substantial evidence of malfeasance. To leave a home in that condition is a crime and a devastating blow to the prior home owner. I feel sorry for her having to live in her home after the contractor cheated her.

No not at all!

I am currently in Year 11 at school in Australia, and I am looking for careers to get into when I leave school. I have had a job now for 1 and a half years and I have invested every cent of my money into the stock market, trying to get my money to grow for me. Knowing that I don't need any other form of education or degrees really motivated me. Thanks so much for the great videos :)

Unfortunately, I don't know the name of the contractor. I hope the previous owner took action and get him what he deserves.

I just hope most people watching this video understand that this isn’t how actual house flipping goes. I’ve flipped appx 30 homes and do Home Remodeling and this is not reality. You will never ever see a $400,000 spread from purchase price to ARV. Also very many other things that scream fake in this video
Nothing I portray in my video is false or made up. These are actual houses I’ve flipped. While these examples may not be relevant nation wide, these numbers are not uncommon for the San Francisco Bay Area, and specifically the South Bay and peninsula.
In the SF bay area, it is very much possible.
I agree with you. There is so much spread she shows in every house. There could be house with very less profit as well. All her houses profits are like 100k + lol
