Fury certainly looked a lot more at ease going in. Wilder knew Fury had beaten him to the punch most of their first fight. With Fury training at Kronk, I could certainly see Wilder being concerned going in.

That was the metaphorical jab. Fury has exemplary skills in mental beat downs. He studies the opponent and calls out their weakness in front of everybody in between all the trash talk shenanigans. They never see it coming. Wilder went in to the first face off thinking they were friends, or equals. Fury set that up on purpose. He metaphorically knocked Wilder off his feet when he told him that they were not alike at all because they worship different Gods. Wilder thought that African voodoo bullshit would scare Fury. It’s hard for people to believe that Fury is what he is today because of the grace of God and his faith in Christ Jesus. Fury rightly claims it. People have an allergic reaction to it, ie Joe Rogan; and forget that this is what sets him apart from the others.

Tyson Fury did not reinvent himself. Tyson had this in his playbook since he was a teenager. This is just another side of Tyson Fury. He can adjust to you, you can't adjust to him.
At the highest level he'd never shown that kind of aggression. He hadn't boxed liked that since he fought Steve Cunningham in 2013, and Cunningham is a crusierweight.

Brent Jones Fury is not just the greatest heavyweight of his era, but top 3 of ALL TIME. Ali never faced anyone with a triple threat of being AS big and fast and skillful as Fury. Fury would have bullied him. The ONLY other two heavys in history that would’ve given Tyson a run for his money are LEWIS and VITALI KLITSCHKO. That’s it. When he took a huge punch from Wilder in round 1 as if it hardly touched him, was probably then that Wilder knew he was fked. By round 7 he was probably thinking about his own tombstone 🥴🤕⚰️
Tyson Fury and his people are a damn cheat. In the first fight Tyson fury left glove was not tightly secure on his fist, the ref caught it and fixed it. In the second fight the same thing happened, Tyson's fury left glove is not securely on his left hand. His fist was holding the bottom of the left glove, causing it to flap. When Tyson Fury hid Deontay with a left hook to the head, his knuckle was hitting Deontay not Tyson Fury glove. Your great white hope is a damn cheat period. THE ONLY THIONG GENIU ABOUT TYSON FURY IS THE WILL TO CHEAT BY ANY MEANS. HE WAS BUSTED FOR ENHANCING DRUG.

You couldn't not know Fury was going to go in for the kill. He had to take it out the judges hands after that last charade after the first fight.
And although I'm a massive AJ fan the more I study both fighters , the more the gulf between them grows, with Tyson always coming out the dominant fighter. The movement, the skills, the arsenal of punches and now the rest of you know....the punch power.

The problem is for AJ now Tyson has shown powers of recovery (12th round first Wilder fight), he showed he has a chin (second Wilder fight he caught a couple and it didn't phase him). So Tyson Fury is tough (he is a gypsy after all). Then take into account Fury's boxing technique / skill-set / ring IQ / footwork movement / hand speed are ALL excellent and on top of that he is the tallest has the longest reach and in most cases the weight advantage. But that isn't what will blow your mind. All of that is not why he is the best, it's his self belief and mental toughness in the ring that is his best quality

Tyson is the best heavy wait since Muhammad Ali. For a man of his size to be able to move as he does is uncanny. But he showed another side to his game planing. He used his forward motion and counter . On top of this he has the personality, the charisma, his return from where he was it is spectacular and inspirational for many many people. You feel trapped. Fury had problems with Cunningham and Wallin..both were smaller faster guys..Mike Tyson in his prime would be a handful.

Tyson is a family man who gives all glory to God, he is a human who accepts the path God chose for him, it's not about preaching religion it's about not believing in your own hype, he mentally deconstructed Wilder, he knew deep down Wilder hadn't yet faced all his Demons, and what was to be came to pass.
It'll be fascinating to see if Wilder mentally too can return from that dark place called doubt/fear.

i don't think it is so much as bad-mouthing as it is reminiscing. if you see or hear teddy when he brings up tyson he is sad about him. he did have hatred for him back in the day but now i think it's mostly pity. he wanted him to be so great and when tyson failed he saw a cautionary tale for other boxers

I think Fury had it psychologically from the 12th round of the first fight with Wilder. He took the best shot Wilder could throw, one that had Deontay making the throat-slash gesture like he knew he'd won, and he got up from it and then outfought Wilder the rest of the round. From that point on, he understood Wilder couldn't stop him. And when he faced Wilder again, he ran at him, bullied him and dared Wilder to do anything about it. Which he couldn't, because like Atlas said, he can't fight off his back foot.
Tyson Fury deserves every single accolade and ounce of praise coming his way because that display against Wilder was nothing short of sensational. A true champion and for me possibly the best since Ali.

There was a moment in the fight where Fury hit Wilder with a shot to the body out of a clinch and Wilder gave him almost an annoyed look. Wilder wasn't used to a guy effectively and tenaciously going after him.

IMO, Furey changed his trainer, that was the key. In the first fight, his trainer played it safe and did what most trainers would have done. The thing is he (the trainer) stuck to the plan, listen to his instructions at the end of round 11. After seeing that Furey was the better/stronger boxer after 4 or 5 rounds, he (the trainer) should have told Furey to go for him. The first fight to me was too much about Ben Davison and what he wanted to do. You have to have a plan B and C, and even if plan A is working, plan B may be a better option.

Teddy is the Vitale of boxing. The biggest difference in this fight was that Fury was finally in real boxing shape and not weak from quick weight loss from 400 lbs.
The question is what strategy will he use for the third fight IF that ever happens...
why people are saying "he reinvented himself?" fury fought like this in numerous fights in the past. first fight he was worried about right hand but changed tactics for second fight when he saw wilder cant fight backing up and judges wont let him win on points.

I don't think there was a "reinvention" here. Tyson said himself he wasn't 100% fit for that first fight and that most of his training focused on just getting his weight down. He said he wasn't at his best and said he would beat Wilder in the rematch. Many thought he won that first match too. He was just in better shape is all, because he had more time to prepare properly for the rematch, which shows how great he is.
Its good that tyson transformed in to AJ for the rematch and AJ transformed into fury. Its really the best fight and the hardest fight for both of them. Klitschko was the king for so long then Tyson out boxes him and AJ beat him up. This fight is going to be amazing so glad we are so close.
Fury credits Sugarhill for his strategy and preparation for the Wilder rematch. Steward says Tyson is very teachable. If there is any genius it may be the willingness to educate oneself about the art and skill of boxing. Lomachenko could be called a genius but how much of it is his father’s lifetime of experience?
Give credit to Sugar Ray also he improved tremendously under the Kronk gym program. Rest in Peace to Emanuel Stewart for training Lennox Lewis and one of the Klitzco Brothers
