Your eye for EVERY detail large and small, in and out , front and back shows your LOVE for what you do and that you are very much a craftsman. You could never make something look bad. Thank you for sharing your “feelings “ for old things I am the same way. Love watching you. I feel my dad beside me every time I watch you. I loved to watch him create ( not quite as good as you) with wood. Whenever I smell lumber or saw dust I think of him.

Absolutely beautiful.. Fantastic work! And it didn't sound silly.. I felt bad for it too. It didn't ask to have that life it had. But now? It looks happy!!! I can see it smile at it's new life!

Why restore such an old cabinet, with common and worthless wood?

I adore this. I know just what you meant; I also feel sorry for neglected/abandoned furniture. I regularly rescue chairs and lamps left out for the trash. Abandoned homes are particularly sad to me. Thank you for saving this piece, it is stunning in its new “coat”. 💕

Only you, Jay, would take something actually dangerous and ugly and make it into something so lovely and functional. You are a master of your craft! Bravo, sir!

I love how you see furniture as having a soul. I am the same way. It is beautiful, as usual. You really went all out on this one. Where do you find your knobs? You have used some unique ones!

I love it, what a transformation. The cabinet looked like a mean lion, and came out like a tame kitty.

Wow you did a good job there. That's a great transformation, and letting it be used for a nother 60 years.
