Want to play beautiful chord triads? This lesson is for you!
I’m going to show you an easy trick that you can use to harmonize triads together and make them sound insanely beautiful and dreamy.
It’s all about changing one note in the triads to reach more colorful notes and extensions. Very easy to apply!
I did that in my recent Ambient Guitar Song called ‘’10 Years’’ and I’m unveiling that chord triads secret in this lesson today!

Thank you !!!! Awesome lesson and it is great how you show it in the three inversions for the 3 note triad...some very mystical sounds and opens up a whole way of connecting sounds and voicings!!

I didn't know what I did on my guitar thousands of times as a teenage kid wrecked on bong hits would ever be explained 25 years later in an in depth guitar lesson😂... Yes pick through a chord and move a note... if it sounds good keep it in the memory bank then try another combo. When it gets interesting is in trying different base notes over the changed note to really state an emotion.

This is a lesson that reveals the relationship between “top set” triads to their barre chords, shows how diatonic extensions can add color to those same triads, and THEN adds harmonization. Hard to believe he did it in a few mins? I took those triads with the Oolimo app and was able to map out the voicings across the neck.
