The way his voice vacillates from harmonizing to storytelling and still keep the audience engaged it is something very few rock stars have the Charisma to pull off. Consider yourself very lucky if you happen to stumble upon this gem.

Now it seems to be 'running to stand still' with the 'stillness' being death, rather than lack of progression - so 'she's' running towards her own death.
