"What are you giving him for The Holidays?"
"Some wood and then he's going to give it back to me."
"How long is it?"
"12 grams."
You mad hahaha
😂
Have to add an epoxy river to it first
Miss your vids John
No one told me robotics was involved. I'm sold
This video is a hilarious mixture of accuracy and comedy. Love it! I am impressed that you found a tape measure that measures mass (grams?!).
Well, he probably has a scale that measures inches.
@@ACoustaDC Then he needs a metric one also!! Or better yet, one that measures imperial and metric.
Well... we look at how wide people are all the time and know they are heavy, so i guess I see how this could work.
If anyone ever gives me a gallon of titebond2 I don't think I'll be able to hold my tears.
Imagine if they gave you TB III.
@@bclamore that wouldn’t be as good. Higher number doesn’t necessarily mean better.
Just dab some TB2 in your eyes, problem solved. 😉
Adress?
@@bclamore, Titebond I, II and III are all different formulas, and each has a specific purpose, but Titebond II seems to be the best overall.
"it shows inches *and* grams". that got me 🤣
Thank you Steve, I love the humor! You have teased a new course coming, and I look forward to it.
Thanks for an uplifting intro into what is usually a stressful holiday until we get to the part to give thanks for the many blessings we all have. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving.
Here's all the stuff mentioned in this video:

Thanks for watching!
Lol, love the comments on saving the “good wood” because it’s too good to use. So I’m not the only one that does that? =p
Thank you Steve, appreciate all the work you put into this video.
The glue bot is a must have. But get it with the metric tip.
😂
I appreciate the sincerity in this video.
Thanks Steve for all your help and great ideas you have made a difference in my wood working abilities
The fastcap tape measure also has that small white writing surface on it to take temporary notes in pencil. Sometimes I will use it to write down a measurement I’m trying to not forget. Super useful!
'The weird emergency tape measure' - can completely relate to this. Hate having to use it.
6:24 - perfect, it got a huge laugh out of me, I almost missed your Grrrripper spot after that :D
enjoyed that video. I am amazed that you were able to keep a solemn look on your face throughout most of the hilarious video
"Have I ever used the pencil sharpener? No. But it has one!" 🤣🤣
That was just a fun video, with a smattering of useful information. Thanks for the chuckles.
I recommend the courses! Have all of them! Best thing I ever purchased!
I have been following Steve for a few years now, I love the fact that his videos are very serious and he never filled with bad humor. But the best part, the total absence of sarcasms. 😁😁😁😉
Merry Christmas Steve! Thanks
Absolutely love the tape measure gift idea!! Also love your explanation on why it's a great gift haha
Loved it, Steve! This video has more jokes per minute than the average sitcom! Happy holidays to you too!
And, bonus, there's no annoying laugh track.
A thumbs up for the Honda days & Toyotathon joke -- everything is a bonus. 🙌
Love it, Mr. Steve.
Cracked me up, thank you Steve!
Loved this video!! Your humor never fails to hit the mark!!
Happy Thanksgiving, Steve and as always thank you for sharing. Best to you and yours.
Tape measures are never where you left them because of tape worms moving them. It doesn't happen fast, but that's the diabolical magic of the worm!
One of your best ever, Steve. So funny and brilliant!
Thanks Steve as I needed a good chuckle today! Happy Turkey Day to you & your family! Don't eat to much today and have some fun along the way! 🦃🦃👍👍
Thank you! AWESOME!
Exotic wood, perfect !
Really excellent tips, Steve! Thanks! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
+1 FastCap tape measure and the digital angle finder. They're both really nice to use.
Thanks for the laughs Steve, I really appreciated them today! 😄
Always love your humor! Good ideas, even the tape that measures grams! 😁
Love your humor. Merry Christmas to you too
hahahahahaha ahh thank you Steve, you always brighten my day. You're a real inspiration, thank youuuuuuu please never stop doing what you do!
People think it's weird that I'm a lady woodworker. But I don't care. It's SO relaxing to create and build stuff! I love getting tools for every holiday! I will be getting a new nail gun this year! I am SO excited!
A gift card for the pound shop would be awesome.
Every woodworker appreciates wood and so does his wife.
That was excellent!
Great video Mr. Ramsey. 😊
Steve, amazing video as usual
Steve's troll game is always on point lmao
FAVORITE VIDEO EVER
Nice one Steve, this was punchy and amusing, well worth a watch ! 👍
Hahahahahaha. Ellie laughs at me all the time because I can't ever find any of the 3 tape measurers I have. Thanks for the video. Subscribed!
Super funny, thanks for this one!!
Merry Christmas Steve!
Thanks Steve! Had me a very good laugh 😃 happy holidays to you as well!
Love it, just love it! As a European I must say I prefer to measure my lumber in liters instead of grams though! You're awesome man 😂
That might actually be useful. You just need to convert board feet into liters.
@@zzgarden I got you.... 1 board foot = 2.35974 liters
top video, loved it!
Of course, Baltic Birch Plywood now falls under the exotic woods category, but it will actually be used.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Steve
That was great! 😂 Comical, yet informative.
I am not a wood worker. I would like to do more but farming is my hobby which involves some crude woodworking. That being said your tape measure comments are spot on. I own three, two of them are identical but I always look for the old one. The new one is too good to use. The third one, well, if I can't find the other two I might use it.
I just subscribed over your personality. Thanks for being cool and informative.
Awesome commentary through your video. If you can make people laugh like that, you have a gift. Also your work is amazing!
Still funny to hear Steve ! Thank you. Happy holliday from France.
7:48 - No idea why I laughed so hard at the metric conversion for 1/10 of a degree. 🙂
Happy thanksgiving Steve! And super funny video…loved the intro👍😂🤣
Merry Christmas
thanks
Fast cap is a game changer! I did a whole video on just it lol
Brilliant! Sent to my significant other. I hope I get a piece of wood that's too nice to use!
The digital angle finder is a winner! I've been using it for two years now. I don't even remember how much I paid for it, but whatever it was, it was worth it.
"even if that woodworker happens to be you" 😂
Merry Chrysler 🎉
Happy ChrisMcKwannzaka!! May all your Black Friday dreams come true! and Happy Festivus!
The blower is actually such an amazing tool. I use one at work probably 10 ot more times a day. Its lite and gets dust out of the way or off the work piece while someone else is cutting. Like steve just said, at the end of the day you just blow all tge work debris into the customers neighbors yard and your all set
"inches and grams" -- cracks me up!
Quite a funny one mam! Your irony is on point! Canadian laughing for days here, lol!
Having lived in the UK all my life, I am totally accustomed to inches on one side of a tape measure and metric on the other edge. When I was at school in the 60s and early 70s we used metric but at home and everywhere else it was imperial all the way so I'm comfortable with either although I secretly prefer imperial.
Same here in Australia - although for a while during the changeover, any rulers or tapes with inches on them were prohibited to encourage adoption - which seems a bit inconvenient and draconian. Fortunately we aren't so prejudiced these days and both are allowed 🙂.
The downside of metrication was all the existing measurements, especially in the building industry, were all the names changed and nothing else - which has left us with a whole bunch of meaningless sizes for things. (But if you are familiar with pipes and pipe thread "standards", this is nothing new)
Steve out here registering new domains each week
top bloke...
Was hoping this was a black friday whatever is on sale that would peak your interest
The weird tape measure analogy is spot on lol, and do yourself a favor and get the glubot. It's well worth it.
"Yeah, it works fine but..., it's just weird." 🤣🤣🤣
🤣Thank you! Happy White Black Friday!
Epic trolling FTW!! I never knew I needed a measuring tape that could measure grams.
Oh My Gosh!! I needed that good laugh, thank you Steve! My Wife is Hungarian and she was rolling when you said grams
I have found the Fit Finder a very useful tool.
Festivus for the rest of us
I laughed so much while watching this. Does it clog? Yes, but not in the same way as others! Love the self-irony, too, and almost spit my drink back into my cup at the completely unexpected Microjig moment. Also, very glad someone finally converted angles to metric. Have a joyful and peaceful advent and christmas, Steve. Thanks for still making videos that entertain us.
I laughed at him being excited when he found out about the pencil sharpener, yet he never uses it lol
Well, you could just use an air compressor especially in a basement shop like mine. The nozzle attachment works great for getting the dust at least into one area where you can then vacuum it up with the shop vac.
Loved this video. You need to go on comedy tour! 🤪
The moment I reached for the mouse to hit the thumbs up was around 6:10. Perfect!
You might have more working tape measures if you weren't snapping them over and over. just saying.
Years later this is still my favourite wood working channel.
I have 4 tape measures. One for each work table and one with my general tools. I don't know how many times I found them all together after looking for 15-20 minutes.
Because; science!
Could you do a longer slower vid of how you built your router table 10 years ago. New to wood working and couldn’t grasp it all. The actual top and fence mainly. Cheers
Wow - Except for a couple of brand differences, I have every one of these already. Well, I will tomorrow when the Fit Finder finds its way out of the Amazon package and into my shop. Now you have to do a "Gift Guide For The Woodworker Who Has Everything" video. 🤣
'The weird emergency tape measure' 😂 so true. I don't know why I frown when I have to use it
Wish I could give this 5 thumbs up!
I use my digital angle finder almost every time I use my table saw. And radial arm saw.
I would love to get a wood slab as a gift. Live edge. Truly, it would be the best gift. Loll.
I will attest that picking the gloogers off the glue bottle is immensely satisfying. Just remember they are not edible.
Hahahaha!!! "Inches AND grams." I nearly fell out of my chair!
