After his visit to China, Cory's back in the fish room, showing off Lady Bird the Mbu puffer's 800-gallon tank with the vallisneria carpet and surprise hillstream loach babies. He also gives us an update on the mini musk turtle babies and all of the 40-gallon breeder tanks - including his plan to get more livebearers for them.
P.S. If you're confused about Cory's long hair, tune in to our weekly livestreams to vote on the next time he gets to go to the barber. 💇♂️ www.youtube.com/@AquariumCoop...

Please find more long tail neon tetra. My family would love them
i need advice quick, its a bit confusing but i found woodlice on a piece of wood in my tank, wtf do i do about it? do i need to do anything?
i moved out recently and took my tank with me i had to empty all of the water to move it, i didnt notice anything when i set everything back up but i did a water change today and just noticed 2 woodlice walking around on the wood under the water
Is your brother name Steve? From "Steve and Maggie"
He's back baby!! By far my favorite coop videos are just Cory sharing what he is up to in the fish room. Not what he thinks he needs to do or what people want to see him do, but what he wants to do.
I'd like to announce my first guppy fry was born today. The tiniest thing I've ever seen and I'm in love
These are the videos where Cory seems the happiest
These have always been my fav videos. Just time spent with Cory in his fish room. Walking and talking and showing what he's planning next, like the Val tank, or admitting...I'm dumping these fish, the black chin live bearers.
I had them years ago and auctioned them off. Same reason, they were just colorless and boring.
I really love these old school videos, it's like visiting with a fellow fish nerd friend.
No super chats, no live chats, no questions to answer and Cory doesn't have to be "on" and think thru everything before he speaks.
Just relaxed, happy, wandering around geeking out on the fish, and showing the screw ups and the successes, just keeping it real.
👍❤️👍
I mean come on....who doesn't love a teenie tiny turtle??? 🥺🥰🥰🥰 Serious serotonin rush LOL
Love the fish room updates. Watching other people enjoy their aquariums (and work through the problems) is as fun to me as going to a fish store. Glad Mr. Fudd made it through the disaster!
These are my favorite videos!
You know it’s gana be a good day when Cory shows off the fish room inspiration incoming!!!
I loved this video. Fish-Nerd Cory sharing his joy is my favorite version of him.
puffer fish are adorable and full of personality, just by observing by watching videos of puffers
Elmer has grown so much!!! The baby turtles are simply precious!❤❤❤
I'm genuinely happy to hear you've got some passion for your hobby back. I can't wait to see what you get up to!
Cory in his natural habitat 👍 love to see it
This feels like the most passionate fish room update cory's done in years. Glad hes having fun, makes the video much more engaging. Rather watch him enjoy doing what he wants than watch him not enjoy doing what I want.
Was he not having fun?
Dear Cory, just seeing your insane passion for your fish (like my own), is the best sells policy that I think you could have. The Q&A video's some times make me feel like its a commercial for the co -op. But after seeing your love fish keeping, I would buy any thing you said was good. God bless you and your fish keeping community. Love you & thanks!
That was just too perfect timing with the incubator having a newly hatched smol turtle. Adorable baby!
How does the "Rinse-o-Reeno" differ from a traditional Rinse?
Yay! Corys is back! Love the nerd talk and the air lift tube looks pretty cool
Fish room updates are my favorite content by far. Mostly because I can sense it's where your passion is. Love hearing about the livebearers!
OMGosh! Baby turtles. . . adorable!🥰😍
Miss these!!!! thanks for doing a tour, it's always a realistic one of successes, trials, and failures.
These are my favourite vids just chilling in the fish room looking at each tank. Looks like you've got my favourite crypt nurii 17:08. I've got a carpet of them in my community tank, probably 70 plants now
Love seeing turtle updates and the fish room!
Great to see your fish room, I enjoy seeing your pets, Love the turtles too, thank you!
Absolutely love these type of videos!❤
Those long fin neon tetras are amazing wow been in the hobby 20 years and now I have a new fish to find and keep!
Yes the main man is back, can't wait for more of you in your fish room
I definitely love these videos the most, just talking about the fish room and what's going on with the fish. I love that you call shrimps little two dancers, it made me like them more! I didn't love shrimp before, but thinking of them as little funny tap dancers changed my mind :)
Those little hillstreams are adorable
I've been loving sailfin molly recently! The male and females both have great colors, and the dorsal on the male is just beautiful
Love seeing the fishroom again! Not sure how I feel about the longfin-neons though….
I feel like Cory gives great hugs
I’m a fish guy true and true , but them baby Turtles though be hitting different.
Love these videos! Just hangin' out, seeing what's happening, enjoying the hobby!
Love to see Cory enjoying the fish room! It's great when we get to see it, but I hope you keep having fun even if it's off camera!
Baby turtles and baby hillstream loaches! Now that’s a fishroom
Love the fish room videos with Corey!!
Fantastic! It’s so great that you’re reconnecting to your hobby. Thanks so much for sharing. ✨
Someone’s gotta grow those babies up!!!! (Me!)
My absolute favorite type of videos!!
Those baby turtles are bomb!!!! I just luv it. What great way to spend ur time.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Lucky to see new baby born! But better to wait a few days before going to the water ❤
Love your Mbu puffers! (Ladybird!)

I love your live streams but this is so much better!
I've missed "hanging out" with you too! I love these fish room videos with you just chilling in the fish room and nerm-ing out about all the new developments.
Welcome back Cory!! 🎉
Always listen to the co op podcast (live streams) at work, and this is the first time I’ve actually like seen the long hair
those long fin neons are really cool, i need to get me some of them
The val in ladybird's tank has gone crazy 😮
Most exciting video for a while, thanks Corey!
Very cool.🐟🌿
I enjoy seeing your fish room. Lady Bird is looking spectacular. I love all the jungle Val in your tanks. Bonus - baby turtles!!!
Welcome back!! Nice to see you again ❤
Love these video's of you in the fish room. Helps me motivate
I love the fishroom updates!
Love the new set up without the ponds. Really cleans up the room and allows focus on the tanks that are in there 👌🏻
This was awesome! Do what you love, I would seriously watch you scrape algae. All of this is so interesting n cute babies!
Thank you for the awesome update😊
Really enjoyed this video! Appreciate the update
Loving the chompers almost as good as ladybirds
Yay! Love the fish room content ❤
Good to see another fish room video
Nice to get caught up.
Take the time to enjoy ❤
CORNDOG these videos are better and you have more energy in them, also you look less tired....showing us how to get through burnout too!❤❤❤❤
The bench and table set is gorgeous
Ooooh, those red platies! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Air-lift add-on 🙂
I have a planted 29gal community tank with Hillstreams (bought from you) and they breed like crazy! I don't do anything to make it happen. I guess they're just happy in there! I have found that most of the info on these guys is incorrect. They are not hard to keep, do not need fast moving, cool, super oxygenated water, and are not hard to breed. Easy to keep and entertaining fish.
I love these videos 😊 and all the babies 🥰
Love the updates!
Awesome content Cory, I love it, I love your product, and I love those Bettas! Super Cool!
love this
Fish room vids are my favorite
That cardinal and all kind of Sulawesi shrimps are super delicate. you can't just put them in uncycled tank. They required specific water parameter that you can't ignored!
That prototype on the sponge filter in the baby turtle tank looks like exactly what I want! Please make it!
Coolest nerd around. Thank you
Honestly, I'd be willing to buy some of those Goodeids, but I've got a good few projects I'm working on myself and wouldn't be able to have anything ready for them in a reasonable amount of time.
Like seeing the tank updates. Ups and downs, new and upcoming additions.
Never seen long finn neon’s before, they look awsome, wil defenatly be loking out for those
9:03 I’ve read that tanks with live bearers have very minimal amounts of algae, so it could work.
As you take the opportunity to thin the herd from the main tank, you might as well swap some fish for more unrelated blood to hopefully widen the gene pool.
Love the video. About the Heterandria Formosa - I keep a very similar livebearer, the Tiger Teddy (neoheterandria elegans). It's a bit of debate which is smaller, (male vs. female, TL or SL measurements), but the fry are about the same size. Since they both only live about 18 mos to 2 yrs, you kind of need to get ahead of any breeding problems early. Here's what you can do now: take a handful of that bulbitis from the next tank over, (cherry shrimp are okay), and pop it in the tank with the Least Kilifish. You'll still want to move the CPDs, but now the fry have some cover. What my fry are absolutely all over is floating plants with longer roots and the roots of like Annubias plants. Best bets are Amazon Frogbit, Dwarf Water Lettuce, and Red Root Floater. EZ-Green will grow all of these like gangbusters, might need EZ-Iron for the RRF. Tiger Teddy fry absolutely love hiding out in the roots of all of these types of plants. Willing to bet that your Least Killies will as well. Once you have good places for the fry to hide out in, I think you'll start seeing a lot more of them. Unlike guppies, the parents don't really eat your fry, you just need good places for them to feel comfortable growing out. If you can start some daphnia or micro-fauna in that tank, that would also help with survival rates. These are one of those fish where the more their tank resembles an unkempt swamp, the better they seem to do.
Hey Cory I like that sponge filter extension you have. Is that an original idea or something I can buy? Love the vids.
The video I’ve been waiting for
Those Betta pugnax are so cool, I wish I could find them in my country...
That is extremely unfortunate about Elmer's tank. :( I am thankful that the turtles and corydoras are ok though.
I am excited for you Cory. Losing the love of keeping fish is definitely part of the hobby and maybe that's a conversation you have with someone like George Farmer one day.... But I am extremely relieved to hear about your trying to rekindle that.
A request if I may, do a video showing you taking fish to the shop and just a normal, very casual day taking a trip to the shop. I'd love to see a "day in the life" of Brandon, of Robert, and of others in this style of video as well.
You don’t need a haircut! It looks great!
17:48 wow! Did you get these from your China trip? They are really beautiful and one of a kind craft! Very good for your back! My parents have a few pieces!
Any other unique items you bring back from the China trip?
Nice to see u back in the fishroom, that is where nerms belong
Nice love this
love the fish
can't go wrong with guppies. i would love to make a aquascape with a bunch of male guppies, make sure lots of hiding spots and space
ladybirds patterns give off brain coral vibes. probably for camouflage.
Nice video. Love the small turtles. When you put together their tank, are you going to add a couple of plants?
I love this videos cory
