I have genuinely not noticed any microtransactions; 147 hours
Its the same complaint people had for Helldivers, most of the people that were complaining already weren't gonna buy the game, they just want to hate on it because their go to games are Valorant or CS.
People who complain about microtransactions just wanna talk. U dont have to spend ur money if u dont want to. just like these companies have the right to put whatever they want in their games. This world is surrounded by people bitching and moaning over some of the most harmless micro trans ive ever seen in a game. Its not like its pay to win its a freaking single player game stfu and stop complain people go to another game and let the people who love this game play it.
@@user-bj7fm6wc7k The problem is that you're riding the opposite end of the spectrum in a way that is equally bad as the people getting asshurt. A game constantly shoving microtransaction down your throat and up your ass simultaneously is FAR from okay. "Just don't spend your money" is a complete copout of an argument and it's not nearly as simple as that. Just look at how BF2 turned out... "Just don't spend your money" turned into "well if you wanna play as a hero character have fun grinding hundreds of hours in the game" in a full price game. There are limits to everything.
We get it, people bitch too much, that's true. But being on the opposite end of the spectrum doesn't make you any more right. You're equally wrong but for the opposite reason. If you're going to charge people for a game, then there needs to be moderation. If you're going to throw a fit over games having a battle pass, then you can't excuse Helldivers having MULTIPLE battle passes in a 40 fucking dollar game.
@@ShiffDawgMan thats where ur wrong. The micro in this game is almost ignorable. yall complaining without even understanding the micro. secondly a game creator can do what they want with thier product, who are u to judge if u were the owner of that company u would more or less do the same when u have stake holders etc alot goes into developing these games. I watched everyone complain about micro and u know what i did before i even tried the game. If i dont like ur game i dont spend on it. But sitting complaining when u as the consumers are the reason why game developers are greedy. U dont like the game dont buy it and dont give it no publicity. But nope everyone milking the same content and half of u people dont even know why ur complaining all u hear is micro lmao
Fax bro people just be complaining just to complain and ruin the game for others.
Also. Everything on the micro transaction list, is available in game 🤣
Pretty Early on too and not overly expensive
Some are even less than useless like the portcrytal. Only 10 can be active at a time, and you get them all in-game. Buying that one in the mtx means you’ll eventually have an 11th unusable crystal
And the Portcrystal is useless without a Ferrystone. And early on you won't have any. 10k in the beginning is a lot of gold to spend on a one use fast travel.
Meanwhile Ox Carts are cheap and whilst not foolproof, work about 70% of the time.
So yeah the micro transactions are pointless.
I had no idea there were micro transactions until everyone started complaining. Only thing good would be port crystals.. Even then you get 5 or 6 per playthrough, maxed at 10 per char
@@serapheid3669 you can actually get +1 portcrystal every playthrought after you get all 6 (yes, it's just 6 besides the dlc one) available on the first playtrought. curently i have 13 portcrystals and already gifted some away.
5:43 there’s a passive skill the Warrior will learn that you can equip to any class that lowers the amount of HP you lose. It doesn’t stop it, but at least you can adventure longer
This is super helpful! I’ll give that class a try. Thank you.
@@houstonnn no problem, the more people who enjoy this game, the better
@@serapheid3669 It's just by 5% though. The accurate description of that skill would go like this "Reduces cumulation of the loss gauge when receiving damage (5% reduction (100% → 95%))"
@@solverrex still better than nothing considering damage stacks up as you keep adventuring
R.I.P Rodger.
Death because the Arisen never followed the blue patches of flower beds. 😢
Great vid. The Dragon Dogma 2 is awesome. The thief class is crazy powerful.
What a chill guy, loved the vid keep it up man
5:25 Allheal Potions restore the cap to maximum. Also it’s recommended to rest at campfires regularly they are basically everywhere.
The micro transactions aren’t the problem. The constant onslaught of trash enemies and a lack of larger monsters in caves makes it seem like there’s a enemy variety problem.
There is no real reward for exploration. Not only are the minuscule amount of pieces of actual armor or weapons ( not capes they’re cosmetic only now) available at vendors. That exact same vendor always sells you a better weapon.
Some people say well you get gold exploring! Nope. You get more gold from pawn quests.
There are zero or rather inconsistent consequences for breaking laws. Walk into the dungeon. Trespass in the castle at night. Kill an entire village with a ballista. Literally pick up and throw Guards and nuns. Nobody cares. Either that or you’ll randomly get shanked and arrested by a guard.
Most augments, have minuscule effects. Which is sad considering there’s quite a few less than the first game.
The day/ night cycle is completely ignorable. There is always a campsite within eyesight.
Edit- almost forgot. Where are the dungeons? This game constantly blue balls you everytime you enter a well hidden cave, find a wall you can blow up. You think “oh wow! Here we go! I’m gonna find something really cool!” Nope. it’s literally one room with a chest. Anything from a cape to a hardspud could be in there.
As an OG DD fan I don’t claim any of the haters, just feels like one person ran that story & everyone just followed, as for all the systems in the game trust me once you get the hang of it you will never want to put the game down until you complete everything.
Ive been saying this to people since I started playing. Nothing in the cash shop is necessary for the game, not only that, everything you can get in the shop you can get in the game for free, you just have to work for it as they intented. The cash shop is just for lazy people, which is fine too. I have no problem with DLC that doesn't affect someones ability to enjoy the game any more than someone who hasn't paid.
the whining about this game was pathetic and way overblown.
All mobile games, 60%console games have microtransactions.
I think its funny how so many people are on about not being capable of locking on in combat.
Perhaps I'm just old school, but I don't miss that crutch one bit.
Its even funnier when hearing other people who advocate that "the game is too easy" but in the same vein complain there is no lock on to assist them with aiming.
I personally like that you have to aim your attacks yourself instead of just blindly mashing buttons.
I totally get that. I’m used to the Souls games and others like those but I’m not opposed to the style of combat in DD2. I think I’ll really like it once I put some more hours in 🤝
I may be in the minority here but I really like walking around and exploring things.. The map is HUGE and I get so lost to the point that hours upon hours go by just walking back and fourth between Vernworth and Nameless Village. The game is disigned for exactly what its meant to be. I probably done 4 missions lol out of the 50 plus hours so far
I’m right there with you. For example, my first Elden Ring playthrough had about 200 hours. There’s always something new to find in games like these.
On PC, there's literally no reason to buy a single micro-transaction. Just use the mod that lets you spawn in any item.
You can use ingame money to get those items easily anyway haha
@@lukesullivan9344 But I like cheating after I finish a single-player game, so having millions of Rift Crystals to recruit insanely OP Pawns is a blast.
Nice vid man. First time watching, enjoyed it! I also agree with the micro transactions. It’s optional, there shouldn’t be an issue with it. If someone has money to spend on an item and they want it, let em. 🤙🏼
Thank you! Happy to have you here 🫡 Gamers love to whine 😂
No-one complaining about the MTX is justified if they were fans of the OG game because the OG game also had exactly the same kind of completely useless MTX involved.
The only valid complaints I've seen are that the game runs awfully, which is true (I think it's because they used RE engine instead of a better version of MT Framework), and also that the game didn't implement absolutely everything that was a part of the changes added in Dark Arisen, which even if I don't agree with I should admit it's not a bad complaint.
At the end of the day there are actually very few people who are genuinely mad about anything except the performance issues. The vast majority of people are just bandwagoning, same as it ever was.
The other big group, the doomposters who keep fueling the fire, are just seeking a dopamine hit from online arguments and the best thing you can do is ignore them.
Don't worry, your hair and beard look fine deary.
Also, did you know that lemurs are from Madagascan and use MTX on their butt-holes?

Tried playing thisbgame i hate it. Stuck trying to get to bhattahl. 2 m9nths and stull unable giving up on this sadly playing this shpuldnt be a part time job its n9 l9nger enjoyable.
If the game was firing on all eight cylinders performance wise at launch, the MTX would be a non issue. By making the Portcrystals tied to exploration rather than main quests like DD1, they're trying to artificially entice people to buy them.
Yeah, people don't seem to understand that we're tired of seeing psychological manipulation used to milk more money out of people. It makes the game feel gross and corporate. Not to mention, they're wanting to set the new 70 dollar price standard while still releasing unoptimized garbage AND fisting in microtransactions. It doesn't matter if you don't -need- to buy them, it's the principle of it. People aren't pushing back because they're whiny, they're pushing back because people who have three functioning brain cells notice patterns and the long term consequences of encouraging certain behaviors.
The contention for this has long since passed and the conclusion accepted, I'm not sure why everyone is dumbstruck and flabbergasted by the community reaction to them. This is a culmination of several years of this garbage. If someone wants to buy the game, fine, but don't be ignorant and act like those who have a problem with the state of things have no justification.
I was out at the beginning and opening, no one cares
Thank you for this constructive comment 😎
@@houstonnn lol I wouldn’t call it constructive, and I was little brash, but lets get to the gameplay my dude! I’ll toss a sub your way cus you are either actively trying to address a change or you being sarcastic. Time will tell XD
Me at 6:00: oh god sit in the bench aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
