Set forth on your grand adventure, Arisen!
Dragon’s Dogma is a single player, narrative driven action-RPG series that challenges the players to choose their own experience - from the appearance of their Arisen, their vocation, their party, how to approach different situations and more. Now, in this long-awaited sequel, the deep, explorable fantasy world of Dragon’s Dogma 2 awaits.
On your journey, you’ll be joined by Pawns, mysterious otherworldly beings, in an adventure so unique you will feel as if accompanied by other players while on your own adventure.
All of these elements are elevated further through physics technology, artificial intelligence (AI) and the latest in graphics, to create a truly immersive fantasy world in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Wield swords, bows, and chant magick. The vocations in Dragon's Dogma 2 give you the ability to approach combat the way you want.
Players can customize their own main Pawn, who will always accompany your Arisen, and enter a covenant with up to 2 additional Pawns from other players through the network.
Beyond the town borders, you will encounter diverse monsters that inhabit the lands. You will need to decide between engaging in battles or finding alternatives; so be aware of your party’s setup, the terrain around you, and the monsters you face.
Travelers, merchants, soldiers and other folk go about their daily lives.
Preoccupied by their own objectives and motives, they all exhibit different emotions. At times, they may lead you to a quest by approaching you and asking for a favor.

i was not interested in Warfarer at first but now it becomes my fav vocation, simply because fashion and u can also have bunch of weapon combo and utilities
All of the Guides, All at Once. Cowboy membership, paying for itself.
You ain't lying lol
Hey Cowboy, I haven't seen you cover the dragonforged skill/vocation improvement system yet. You can choose an ability from your kit to halve the stamina cost. It's an incredible addition to make more skills viable.
You can also improve one vocation to increase the points allocated to your attributes when you level up.
Its incredible for wildfurie and formless feint
Is it only available in proper NG+ and not simply NG Unmoored? Because I'm currently in the Unmoored and haven't seen that option.
@@FelisImpurrator yes only NG+ after true ending
Are the upgrades to stats applied retroactively? I’m level like 89 and my vocations have all been maxed since before unlocking the feature so I was never sure it was worth it.
Loving the endgamr warfarer content. Crazy synergy, gave me great ideas just by watching this. Going to try Augural Flare, Deluge Shot, frost blades to see how much damage it nets me. Frozen should hold it in place to stack bonkers damage
I will take the stat hit from Wayfarer everyday because the unlocked fashion game is immaculate
(Also because the combo of skills is very good, but still)
I play pure warrior with warfarer just for the fashion. Too good.
Fashion >
Not like things don't die fast as hell anyway
The fashion one can achieve with warfarer is top tier and yeah it makes me only ever want to use warfarer lol
@@EliMonpress u should add a bow for harpies and staff for healing, stamina regen, or levitation
@@internetspectator6051 I have a bow and staff I just don't use rearmament.
My personal wishlist for future content is some sort of unarmed fist vocation and adding more Core skills to the existing vocations, with the option to switch them out at the vocation guild. Kind of like what they did with the switch skills in MHR Sunbreak.
I really enjoy the showcase of the builds in these build videos, it makes it much more fun to watch and to understand the vocation
I like magick archer for the caves and stuff on Warfarer. Richochet Hunter is just so much fun.
That being said. Unmoored world ending before you can explore is not very cash money.
Been loving this game and loving your guides, great stuff
I've been using magic archer with augural flare and its stupid how easy and fast it is to proc it. augural flare is honestly just a nutty ability
Archer : spiral arrow, Mystic Spearhand : skiedragoun's feste, Warrior : heavenward sunder is my got to as a Warfarer. Archer for flying enemies and kind of DOT with spiral arrow, mobility/dodge and attack speed with MS, and Warrior for big knock up and damages. I love this combo so much I just basically can't play anything else. Only thing I find more funny is the "true Warfarer" mod but it's so op you sadly can't play it if you don't add a difficulty mod. Please Capcom, give us a hard mode and some neverending post game content like we had in DD:DA
True Warfarer is my jam. I play with 1/3 damage to normal enemies just so I can justify playing the full nine weapon loadout.
Twas a fun series and awesome guides. I'm hoping for a DLC that will expand the content.
Watching the golem fight reminded me of a time I busted off the head of one and it was still trying to pew pew me while it was severed. You can position the golem in front of it or even move the head around in order to cause it to shoot itself lol
"U-knitters mantle" lol
Sir, spare a crumb, just a crumb of RC for the rest of us 🤲
I keep my Magick Bow on default for mobs, DuoSpear w/ Dragon Fist & Mirror Shield, ThunderMine to protect my Casters in the back, w/ a Mage Staff so I can Heal w/ Anodyne when my Pawn are not LOL Notably, I definitely always keep a way to Levitate for Exploring/Clearing out the Maps.
Feel you on wanting more, we need the Bbl equivalent asap.
Will you be doing a trickster video later down the line? Curious to see what you would do with that class.
"There's this guy running around changing wespons on'the-fly and killing everyone, who is he?"
😅😅
I do easy mode warfarer of Magick Archer and Sorcerer..I'll bring some dowsing spikes along to occasionally equip and check the area for chests. :)
You can also substitute in blazefang arrow for the warrior skill.
I'm sure you don't need any of the materials, but seeing you not loot any of the monsters, erks my tism something fierce lol.
These guides are him reloading a save to speed up killing the dragon, also in the unmoored world you only can rest like 12 times so for the purpose of the videos, not much point looting if your not keeping it
@nikolaibrown8972 I figured it was something like that lol
9:57 we all do lets hope our prayers come true
Did you think about doing a playthrough using the NG+ mods + custom difficulty tweaks?
I was gonna suggest that, without difficulty tweaks, the game gets boring.
Yeah I was probably gonna give up on NG+ as it was quite boring when I realized I could kill drakes in like 20-30 seconds. Now I'm using the Custom Tweaks mod on NG+ Hard preset of difficulty, with a few tweaks to specific enemies since Drakes are way too bloated by default. Currently running with Warfarer using Bow and Daggers. For skills I'm using Exploding Shot (Drenching Shot against Drakes), Skull Splitter, and either Mercifull Kill or Gut and Run. With ice enchant on weapons and Drenching Shot, Drakes are quite managable. I stay on Daggers most of the time for DPS, then swap to bow if the Drake is flying or if it's casting Meteoron. If you freeze the drake while it's flying, it will drop to the ground and you have a massive DPS window, and if you freeze it while it's casting Meteoron, it will interrupt the cast, which is quite nice because at this difficulty level Meteoron can mean a full wipe.
@@jordanmatthews1450 the new custom difficulty tweaks update lets you tweak each enemy one by one
I was so pumped to play as a Strider/ Assassin but Warfarer just takes out all the fun of the ultimate skills which is a bummer!
If you play on PC there will probably be a mod to fix that
The fact that you have 3 players helping you does make the game easy. I'm finding quite fun to go solo (just with my main pawn) exploring the world.
it's not just because of player pawns, i can run around with just myself on my fighter/archer/sorc wayfarer set up and everything just melts in seconds, you just hit a certain point where everything just dies, an endless hard area would be lovely, NG+'s actually getting harder would be lovely, even a difficulty option would be lovely, i want things to last longer than two seconds
"Jack of all trades master of non is often BETTER than a master of one." -- The Actual Saying
I see people in the rift at level 333. I don't know how they got there so fast, but maybe that should be your next goal. Also, I think Capcom should reintroduce the Ur-Dragon raid boss mechanic.
Im a bit confused, how are you achieving the fire status on all of your weapons? At first i thought your mage had that support slill on but you had flames on your weapons the moment you spawned in and started swapping.
That particular weapon has fire built in.
@@FightinCowboy I know, I've used it. I guess I just never noticed. It also looks like your holy daggers are on fire when using the core skill. Maybe I'm just tripping 🤣
Nope just the holy glow
Found skull splitter actually does more damage than the flare and regulsr attacks
flare and splitter is prob the best combo in the game, u can melt almost anything
Yes but regular atacks are more consistant in my opinian
You said you wanted to be swarmed 😂😂😂
I'm running Magick Archer, Thief and Mystic Spearhand and I'm just running spear for movement
Cries in consol. Warfare on PC is just so crazy 😢
Why you cryin? This is obviously doable without PC mods lol, nothing shown in the video is PC exclusive.
@@SuperFizzah PC has mods that allow for the use of all the skills with each/every weapon and even rebinds the swap skill to a dedicated key so you don't even have to sacrifice a skill for it.
@@QwertyBoredom122 so it makes it very unbalanced cool.
@@QwertyBoredom122tbh that's how it should've been, I'd still take not having maister skills simply to be a real warfarer, like yeah unbalanced but looks at support warfarer guide, balance is not a thing in this game lol
My only thing stopping me playing warfarer fully is simply just being locked to 3 skills, if I was on PC I'd immediately install a mod to fix that, I know it's a good vocation but simply feel like it should ATLEAST have 2 or 3 skill sets so you could get more out of the class
Warfarer made the sorc flare skill overpowered. That skill was strong enough when on sorcerers alone. I stopped using it because the game was too easy with it. There's gotta be a way for Capcom to make the game stay challenging without horrendous level scaling. A system similar to Monster Hunter World would probably work.
I was trying to do a mystic knight type build but there’s really no way. The closest is to use augural flare and something else. I used 2 fighter skills but meh just doesn’t have the same kick idk. There’s really nothing like it in this game
Hmmm, gotta say just going pure warrior build warfarer to knock things down while two sorc pawns conjure a meteor/maelstrom kills things faster than this. Normally anything we're fighting (sans dullahan) doesn't last more than a minute because they're knocked out by the time meteors hit. I refuse to do the flare/archer build that just one-shots things since the game is already way too easy.
Awesome build and video! I appreciate your effort to make awesome content and guides for all the main RPG tittles that come out, been a fan for a long time.
Too bad I can't play the game because it simply doesn't work anymore, it autosaved in Bakbathal and crashes everytime I try to play now. Tried reinstaling, updating drivers, allowing game to run on admin mode... basically everything suggested on the internet didn't work. Even tried running the game on the lowest settings as possible and it still crashes. Bummer, the game wasn't cheap and its from Capcom, but the performance on PC is unbelievable sh*itty.
Fightincowboy, is the warfarer limited with its skills or am i wrong?
What do you mean? It can use any vocations skills
@@FightinCowboy just the amount of skills it can use for each weapon, maybe I'm just not using it properly. I watched the video, and it looks cool, but maybe its just not for me.
You get 3 and rearmament which gives you access ti every weapon, You also get all the core skills of each weapon so with daggers for example you can do Scarlet kisses and you get the Dodge and all that stuff
@@FightinCowboy I'll play around with it some more and see what different kind of stuff I can come up with. Like you said in the beginning the possibilities are basically limitless, just gotta keep an open mind about it. Thanks man!
Why can't I swap between my weapons I don't understand.
I agree with him
I run this except I use the mace and shield for fighter. Stamina is a big reason I don't run this anymore. I gas out bad.
no trickster guide?
I hate how you can't use Maister Skills in WarFarer RIP
with warfarer you can make your own [vocation here]. It's. Not. The. Same.
At first I like Flare like most players. now after 100 hrs. I think it's overrate. if you fail to trigger it. it's loss dps. you will fail 1 or 2 time every fight. it deal insane damage to boss that isn't a dragon but every things can kill fast. some skills even kill faster because Flare need time before it explode. Flare do ok damage on dragon but I feel it's hard to aim on the heart. some time the Flare get on wing, legs etc. it also not that good on multiple weakpoint enemies like Golem and lesser dragon.
This is my Warferer setup.
Skill.
High Seism to kill Golem, group of stone lizards.
Ravinour's hand and Skull splitter for boss. spin to win. if stamina run out then zap it back.
if you don't care about stamina then use smoke bomb for easy clear trash mob. drop bomb and easy heavy attack everyone.
Weapons
Staff for High Seism and regen stamina when travel.
Dagger for Spin to win
Spear for Zap stamina and weapon for trash mob. stun and warp to do heavy attack will kill most trash mob easy
Magick bow for kill harpys, ghosts and snipe weakpoint on lesser dragon. also work great on ambush goblins. snipe them before they ambush you.
Why run ravenous hand if you have galvanize?
@@FightinCowboy cause Ravinour's hand just so much faster. I arrange dagger order after spear. after zap stamina I can rearmament and spin.
I use smoke bomb before and use galvanize for stamina but it's too slow for my liking. so I drop smoke bomb and use Ravinour's hand instead.
When I first play Warferer. I thought 3 skills suck. now I think 3 is enough. I don't really need more than 3 skill I use now.
I wish the game let you use at lease 1 other meister skill on Warferer. I really like Arc of might. Indomitable Lash can't compare to it. there no point to use greatsword if I can't use Arc of might so I drop the idea Warferer using greatsword.
Warfarer should be the master of all class, but you need to earn it. They should let us master and max out all vocations first and work extra hard to get the warfarer specialty.
Just fun to think about
No thanks. I would rather not being forced into playing 10 hours of Trickster and Mage only to unlock an actual fun class.
No offense but that’s not a good idea nobody wants to max out a class they don’t like playing at all
Painfarer
To be honest this game is so ridiculously easy it shouldn’t even need a build guide. I literally 1 shotted the final boss with magic archer. Difficultly for this game was quite the upset.
I mean, to be fair. Magic archer is easy mode lol. Cowboy even says that in his build guide.
@@kamsikaze5879 I’ve maxed all the vocations and all of them are easy mode if you ask me. There’s nothing difficult about the game and making builds is nothing crazy as there aren’t many options to choose from when picking skills.
Can’t you just replace the bow, mace and dagger for 1 magic archer bow lol
Feel like Warfarer would be 100% better if you didnt have to use Rearmament to switch weapons. Let me use the weapon skill and that's what determines which weapon i currently have equipped after the skill is used. Rearmament should only be required if you like a weapon but dont use any skills from it such as people only equipping a staff for the levitate or Spearhand users only using the telekinetic warp core skill. It feels clunky and breaks the pace of combat having to use Rearmament in between weapon combos.
Last vocation?
What about trickster, is he THAT bad?
its not bad just very boring, since your kit is almost pure support, and you rely on pawns to do damage, but u still can use some weird illusion placement to break enemy AI
Unlimited time & rest in unmoored world would be a nice update. Dragon's Dogma 2 sold well, so wtf capcom lol. Come on.😅
The commentary about nothing to do at endgame is 100% the reason I'm stalled now after playing two weeks straight. I just kinda quit this week because after completing NG+, there's absolutely nothing to do but get pawn badges. While the first game had less of a map, I do feel like it had more to do in the game than what we got with this one. Kind of mind-boggling considering it took them 12 years to make.
