  • You’re training the brain as much as you are the body.
    In this instance, it’s about training the brain to control the quads against the load of the hamstrings. You’re addressing the stiffness in the hamstrings, yes, but work in that quad flex / contraction to recruit the brain and counter inhibition.

    I do this everyday before I do anything, seems to help my knee that's tough to straighten out without clicking and such. except I do it without that roller. And it's a good warm-up that's really low load.

      I do these a lot too! Try different angles of your toes and it seems to get my quads going pretty well
