    Walmart will add tax. Add on about $1.50 an oz or so.

      Send them an e-mail. They will refund it. At least they did for me.

    Great info! I didnt know the mods of the Degen club took over WSS. Hopefully WSS will not be so toxic going forward. I used to love that sub.

      same in my state. but the capital one walmart card does save me on delivery fees. tbh the 5% back is nice and being able to use your credit card without getting hit with a credit card fee like how most sites do makes it very worth it to me

    Thought I would give a try ordered a roll of silver eagles through Walmart. Ordered them on Monday received them on Wednesday. No extra charge for using a card like the bullion dealers. Yes they did charge me tax. After I received my order, I called and asked for refund for the taxes. Had the refund credited back to my card in an hour. They came perfectly packed, so had no issues. Will definitely do it again.

      Thanks, ag! I'm working on a vid for stackers who can't get/don't want the Walmart card. It's nice knowing there's options :).

      Many states charge sales tax on precious metals. Buying from First Majestic up in Vancouver is tax free. If you buy 50 ounces it's shipping free. If you show them you hold 100 shares of their stock, they discount $0.50/ozt. On some holidays they discount another $0.50/ozt on some products.

    It's pointless if you have to get their debt card for this deal. How much is it costing you in interest and inactivity fees?

    • @StackerFactor
      @StackerFactor  Před 6 měsíci +2

      It cost nothing in fees, and I always pay off my card as soon as the balance appears after a purchase. I NEVER pay interest on credit cards.

      My Walmart Capital One credit card charges me zero fees and I avoid paying interest by paying off my account in full every month. You have to have pretty good credit to qualify for that credit card so this probably doesn't concern you.

    Walmart charges you tax. then you have to call them for weeks to get it back.
    I know. I have done it. I don't think you sctually bought anything.
    Walmart doesn't sell you the silver this Apmex selling as a Walmart Marketplace vendor.
    I you had bought something you would know this.

      You have to know how the laws of your state. In Florida they charge tax on bullion below $500 in one purchase. If you buy a roll for $500 exactly or higher you pay no taxes here. Walmart adds the taxes according to your state law.
