- For GAA neutrals around the world yesterday there were no real losers in Croke Park. This game of football was a massive sporting spectacle and Dublin performed in a manner that few professional teams could hope to match.
Six goals, 29 points, 81,553 spectators held enthralled with excitement and a final finish to rank with the greatest in football history.
What more could we ask for?
I could watch us play Kerry every day, win lose or draw you're guaranteed a class match and great day. Respect to the Kingdom.

Im a kerryman, and I was in the hill that day. Fair play to the Dubs, they were fitter and better in the end. Great to see football back to its best. This proabably the best game in the past decade, if not the best. Unlike some dublin kerry games where fighting and cynical fouling disrupts the game, this was a game of pace, skill and fair play by both teams, no donegal or tyrone tactics. Northerners should learn from this.

These lads will be talking about this match in 30 years time like they do now about the 70s team. I was there on the hill and even watching it now it makes me fill up. I was there but by god I couldn't watch these last 8 minutes. Gut wrenching stuff. The best game of football I have been to in my 12 years as a Dublin fan.

Came back to watch this after all Ireland final and Dublin deserved to win sam and semi was the match of the championship . Great skill am sure few kerry people who were behind Dublin over Mayo to beat Kerry in such a fashion deserves the prize . Big respect to Kerry , Mayo, and of course the Dubs best game on earth .
Kev scored a very similar goal against Mayo in the league only a few months later.. it was no fluke. Kev is a great GAA player... his medals back that up.

yeah who told you about football? some auld lad at the bar?.... fuckin weekend warrior clown your why Dublin fans have a bad rep, talkin when you should have been listening lad, talking when you should have been listening. the Kerry performance was not reflected in the full time score all right, they weren't hammered by any means, but they were skilful and gave it there all you can possibly argue that fitness was a factor but Dublin were the better team in the last 10-15 mins. watch it back again they were clinical and functioning as a unit, that's what wins games. everybody goes on nearly like the Kerry team was past its sell by date and they are finished but theres 5 or 6 players on that team at least that wud start for Dublin if they were available to us. I know they have only one team to play in munster (cork) but they will be knocking at the door again this year just watch, still a very good team and a threat
