It’s 5am on the 19th of December 2020 and I’m awake with the excitement of another all Ireland and the chance of 6 titles in a row, watching this back gives me goosebumps. The start of something amazing. Been on the entire journey with the dubs. Every win loose and draw. But we won’t be with you today unfortunately. Good luck lads and hopefully we will celebrate it later tonight. Up the dubs 💙
Fair play Dubs ye beat us again this year. Kerry had always been a thorn in the side of Dublin for so many years and over the last decade the Dubs have changed the narrative and have arguably become the greatest team to ever play the game.
Will never forget this game , from 2000-2011 I went to every Dublin game and was disappointed every year. The most amazing thing about this game was that this team wasn't even the best Dublin team I've seen we probably had a better team on paper in 2005/2006 but to win the all Ireland in such fashion was genuinely the best sports moment I've ever witnessed. Chills when cluxton scored that point...

The 2009 1/4 final vs Kerry always comes to my mind when I'm looking at the current unprecidented success that the dublin team have enjoyed over the past decade.losing in the last minute to cork in 2010 getting absolutely pumbled by tyrone in the 1/4 final of 2008 losing to Armagh in the semi final of 2002 when Cosgrove missed a free with the last kick of the game have made days like this one and all the great times of the last decade all the sweeter
I love the bit @ 0.33 and the goal goes in.....the sheer RELEASE of energy and nervous tension from the fans. I was on the Cusack stand. The place exploded with noise! What a day. What a game. What a weekend : D

There was alot of those moments for both teams. Double bounce seems minor compared to the big open space he was allowed or the ease of which he got around the back line.
And then the avalanche came! Great to see the mighty Dubs at the peak of their powers again on the top of the GAA world and looking strong again at this early stage this year already with some nice league form and the final now to come. UP THE DUBS!
this is the greatest sport in the world. this is Gaelic football GAA and there is no better sport to get the heart racing for 70 minutes. Soccer is good but it can be terribly boring but you never get a boring GAA game. By the way its only played in this country inc London and New York.... think aussies are trying to establish a league.
I was at this game in 2011 and have no bad feelings about Dublin winning. It was the beginning of a great team. I can honestly say that the Dublin fans on that day were some of the best winners I've ever had the pleasure of hanging out with, we drank Guinness together and it was a wonderful atmosphere. But, I will never understand why it took over 60 seconds to take that free from Clux, and why Kerry were not given that time back to have one last attempt to score. I really hope we will have a fair crack at Dublin on Sunday, Kerry can win if it's 15 on 15 / 20 on 20 but, If it's 21 on 20, Kerry will lose again, just like 11 and 16. Dublin are really good so let's just be fair officials/Gough...
Cluco is shy and hates being the centre of attention. What, he didn't sign enough autographs? I met him last time they won in Parnells. He was the nicest guy of them, took time to share a laugh and a photo.

Great game it was one thing watching it live but another thing watching it again after you have already seen it before. Sport a game of fine margins element of chance and fine tuning from players from all counties to reduce randomness. Little did many of us watching at the time not realize that this would lead to future 5 in a row. For players it must be strange kind of good moments in time passage of victory to defeat & defeat to victory back & forth. Dublin did threaten in noughties but were eclipsed along with Kerry by Armagh & Tyrone who frustrated them both. But watching it live always beats watching it not live but either way you cannot complain. You can never be sure how a game will be won until after it has been won. Sport to honour mock Mars aka Ares God of War in greek myths not in a disrespectful way but then you cannot forget Athena either. Discipline fitness sharpness of skills that's why in the end you must or will submit respect to athletes regardless! why ? way it is and its way its goes!

Best Team won on the day. Extra-Sweet as it's the cocky swagger of the kerry support before the game that made our win all the sweeter. They're only too prepared to stay in the Capital when things go their way and 'have the craic', but when the boot's on the other foot they scarpered to Heuston Station, bad losers is all they are.

Same time taken for a free earlier in the game and would not be considered time wasting. Granted time was taken for Cluxton to get to the free but he took it fast after he got there. Dont see an argument there in fairness
Thanks for reply. The free was awarded 52 seconds into 2 minutes of injury time. That was the last action. Remember, injury time can also be added on for what is perceived as excessive time and I believe that bringing a goalkeeper all the way up is extra use of time. (Fair play, he scored!). So Kerry should have been given one last good chance to equalise.
