Freddie interviewed by Lisa Robinson in 1984 is another good interview you have too check out, deep and funny, I'd like to thank you for all those Queen reactions…
He would have been so much fun at a party or something. I’ve always heard he had a fabulous sense of humor. Seems so strange he would have been this old. We will all remember him like he was at the 1986 Wembley concert with that iconic yellow jacket. That’s the jacket he’s wearing when the huge statue was made. I sure wish I could go to Switzerland to see it.
Awww thank you so much for sharing this, I have seen all of it many many times before, but that dosent mather at all. I love it anyway…..I never get enouth of Freddie……omg I laf when he drink the Hungarian drink 😂 ……luv 👑♥️🥃
It’s fabulous listening to Freddie talk. Thank you Rory for your reaction! “I don’t like the way my teeth protrude. I’m going to have them done, but I just haven’t had the time. Apart from that .. I’m perfect!” (Freddie) 😂🥳
Rory, There are some really GOOD (COMPLETE) interviews available with Freddie, with interviewers who were friends of Fred's, so he's quite relaxed/talks more openly about himself than he would usually: Molly Meldrum (Molly is a guy's name; there are two interviews: one in 1977, one in 1985... It's quite cool to see how much Freddie evolved/matured from one to the other) Lisa Robinson (She's the one he's joking w about fighting with Brian... the whole interview has been pieced back together, so some parts are high HD/some aren't... but it's complete) David Wigg (In 1985; this is the one where Fred's wearing suspenders... Fred also did a very "personal" audio interview with David in 1987, in Ibiza for his birthday... He doesn't come right out/talk about having AIDS, but hints at it)
when he came to Britain he registered his name as Frederick/Farrokh Bulsara but introduced himself as Fred everyone called him Fred he used Freddie as a stage name as he was known as a young kid he was bullied a lot inc his name so he changed it!
Great Freddie Birthday Bonanza Rory 😂✌🏼 Freddie hated being interviewed mostly bc the press in general didn’t like him and were usually trying to ‘ get him ‘ !! There are quite a few Very Funny clips of Freddie that these don’t particularly show. He naturally got a little jaded and snarky over the years but before the press hounded him he was rather innocent and kid like and silly. Freddie had a very generous spirit and truly wanted to make people happy. Anyway Thanx for the Bonanza !!
Freddie was joking' and to write all the hits..' yes in the 70s all the top ten were his, first to chart, first hit, first UK no 1 first US no 1 only John who had the other top ten. YMBF no 7 Freddie was more of a support role in the 80s I don't think the 80s were as much his scene than the 70s which seemed to suit him best 84 Roger had his first single hit No 2 Ga Ga John first hit no 3 Brake Free in this same interview he said no they hate me now because of Hot Space didn't do well but they let them selves down on that, didn't work well as a team at all
As an Asian person myself I cannot see what the fascination is of the English people with freddie mercury , what grips you in such a way ? I just don't see it. I see him as your average every day Joe blogs Asian guy that walks down the street every day, who I wont even look at. The fake, pretentious, weak , useless guy of Asian society, with a poor command of english , with a pretentious english accent. So I can't understand british people have elevated him to such a level ? I just can understand how english people can't see him for who he really is ? It boggles my mind.
Freddie’s popularity in UK & worldwide has nothing whatsoever to do with his background or his look. His popularity is due to his musical talent - now that might not be to your taste but it is to millions around the world & has influenced many modern artists. Back in 1970’s (& into 80’s) many people would have no idea what Freddie (& other musicians) looked like so popularity wouldn’t be based on how they looked but how they sounded. As for his poor command of English, well he’s written some songs with beautiful lyrics for someone who has such a poor grasp of the language….and I’d look at your punctuation before picking holes in others ability 😊
THE ONLY 90's ARTIST I LOVE SO MUCH
If I had my choice to sit down and talk to someone it would be Freddie

You seem to have a problem with your ears and eyes.
You can't even fathom how loved Freddie was by millions of people around the world for his talent and wonderful voice. What a pity.

@@The_Rizz_Lord_ Freddie was fake? Nonsense!
