For me it just seems like both the mother and daughter just weren’t listening and after were just looking for excuses on why they shouldn’t be at fault. The lady and others warned them. SMH

This is the first time I was disappointed in the VERDICT. This shows we ain’t perfect. Lol

The mom and daughter knew the platform was abit tricky so when the daughter had her dress on and knowing she will have a hard time seeing the step down the mother should of went by her daughters side and help her down the platform so she wouldnt trip and fall,
Notice how the audience groaned at his decision.
This case should have been dismissed outright. The Plaintiff completely failed to demonstrate any negligence on the part of the Defendant.
I wish the mom and daughter lost, but the store owner and worker made a big error. They did not bring enough evidence to prove the mother's negligence was more than the store's. Judge Judy even calls this out at times with some of her cases. If you don't bring enough evidence to support your testimony, then I cannot tell a lie, YOU LOSE. If there was a sign mentioning only 1 person can be on the podium and if one of the store workers or owner was present when the incident was about to happen, and tried to save the daughter before she fell, then the mother would have lost.
Why not simply postpone the cinqeavera
until the leg has healed?

I can imagine the strain service providers have to meet customers demands, the mother demanded the shoes even if it was bigger size. I don't see how the shop owner is responsible. I mean she is a 15 year old that can step down on her own and of course they have other customers to attend to. The mother should have helped her daughter to step down because she demanded those shoes.
