For me Kyoto is the best place in Japan to visit, as ancient capital of Japan, this is where Japanese cultures and traditions still intact, Like this beautiful little village, the water is so clear! no wonder it is famous for its washi paper for 800 years and its moss covered 神社 so beautiful. There are so many wonderful green elements around this village,i like your walking there and the magic of the old trees with the spirit of the sculptures near the ritual places. 黒谷に行かれたんですね✨
さっそく拝見しました。
今回も楽しみに待ってましたよー
今回も捕捉説明しますね。
黒谷といえば、鎌倉時代初期に弓の名人で川上姓を名乗る人と平家の落武者16人によって開村されたことで知られています。西暦1400年代に門徳寺(現在地は国道からよく見える)が出来、その頃には、集落があったそうです。中心を流れる川に沿って、約50世帯ほどあります。田畑は一切なく、古くから紙漉きで生計を立て暮らしてきました。江戸時代初期1628年より旗本の梅迫氏の領地となり、そののち専売等で揉めて梅迫騒動などもあったそう。
さて、集落の一番奥にある熊野神社。ここ黒谷は、現在と同じように舞鶴と京の都を結ぶ峠道にあります。そこを往来していた、紀州和歌山の住人が御神体を奉じて黒谷の東谷２番地に納めたのが始まりです。元々 黒谷分校があった場所です。ですが、西暦1791年江戸時代末期に社殿が消失。月日が流れ、大正4年に現在地に移転し、社殿・拝殿を改修しました。狭い谷の一番奥に有るわりには大きな社殿と広い庭が印象的ですね。裏手に末社が並んでいて、左から、八幡、春日、金比羅、浦島、稲荷。間を空けて、稲荷、八坂神社が祀られています。峠道にある神社ですから、旅の安全を各神様に祈願したんでしょうね。
黒谷といえば、平家の落武者の里です。畿内にある黒谷という地名には、必ず熊野神社もしくは、小さな社があります。何か繋がりでもあるのでしょうか？笑
黒谷和紙の里 秋祭りの際、黒谷の各家にはお札が配られます。それも黒谷和紙です。羨ましいですね。大昔は山間の地で細々と作られていたのが、今では、桂離宮など皇室では当たり前に、世界の黒谷和紙ですからね。

黒谷和紙を調べてみると800年の伝統の京都府指定無形文化財とあり、場所を調べてみるとさらに驚き。
失礼ながら京都市街地より遠く離れた秘境の地に今もなお伝統を守っているところがあるなんて思ってもいませんでした。
今さらながらですが京都の歴史と文化の奥深さに改めて感心させられるばかりです。

知らなかったです。こんな集落があることを。川沿いの家々は、どことなく「工房」のような風貌をしてますね。あの小川には魚はいましたか？わたしなら、きっと覗き込みます。小魚の群れなどを見ると気持がなごみます。映像の始めのほうに出てきた「とび太くん」は。独特でしたね。あれは普通の「とび太くん」の顔じゃないような気がします。貴重な映像をまた記録されましたね。

地元なのですが美しいと同時に恐ろしさも感じます。このあたりはどこも限界集落に近づいています。それでもこうして人が来てくれるのはありがたいことです。小学校の卒業証書は自分たちで漉いた和紙を使います。非常によい経験でした。

This seems far outside of Kyoto city. Many small Japanese towns seem empty, most young people leave to work. With no people in scene, it looks like a science fiction or horror movie, I like it. And the filter it suits the green feeling. Thanks for posting from Vancouver, Canada.

Hi Anna. Beautiful scenery! I was wondering what videocamera/photocamera do you use? You could write it down on your Channel Info what equipment you use. Do you have plans to make a trip to Yakushima-Nationalpark and make a video there in your style?
Thank you for your comment. I used BMPCC6K, sigma18-35mm and Ronin-s. And I use makina67 for Instagram photos. I want to go to Yakushima someday.

水が豊かで、木々はもちろん、小さな草花や地衣類もともに時間を重ねて集落を作ってきた感じがしました。Annaさんの映像はいつも本当に凄いです。熊野神社の参道を通り鳥居をくぐって本殿の前に近づいた時、思わず居住まいを正してしまいました。リラックスポーズで動画を拝見してたのですが、神様の前に急に連れてこられた気がしたのですよ。
