    Sending one back since the controller screen is so dim you can't read it.

      Unfortunately we had to do the same thing

    Have you ever encountered the problem where the screen on the wheel is dim? I'm at a loss. My battery is full. Can't seem to find a display brightness feature

      Me too, I just got it and it is going back since you can just barely make out the number but can't read the font at all.

    Thank you for the review. I still don’t understand why there is no internal power for the motor.

      You mean instead of running on battery?

    • @evanh75
      @evanh75 Před 5 lety +1

      IPG Rentals Yes. And it is unfortunate that I don’t use gimbal that much. As opposed to Nucleus N, the PD movie one has an internal rechargeable battery. Of course it is more expensive that Nucleus N...😭

      IPG Rentals the motor does not run on a battery

      Yes the motor does run on a special battery

      IPG Rentals the focus wheel, but the motor does not. What battery are you referring to? I have the same unit and the motor connects via USB to a power source. There is no replaceable battery in the motor that turns the lens gears.

      Actually, it does work on FBW lenses... sort of, if you don't power cycle the camera or the focus elements.

    Good morning,
    Thank you for your valuable information. I just bought the Tilta nucleus Nano, but I have a problem with my Sony (16-35mm/F4 and 24-70mm/F4) Lenses. After calibration, with these two objectives I can not make a stable adjustment of the points A and B, the point will shift each time. With my other objectives (DF) with stop, it works perfectly. Would you have an explanation?
    Thank you.

    • @ipg_rentals
      @ipg_rentals  Před 4 lety

      Is your rubber ring sliding? When setting up the points in DSLR lenses it has very little travel from one end to another so that’s weird.

    What do you think does it have noise while focusing, what an external mic on the camera would pick up? :) Thanks!

    Do you think nano can handle a zoom cine lens & how about the latency compare to moza ifocus system?

    • @ipg_rentals
      @ipg_rentals  Před 5 lety

      There is hardly any latency. We tried it on a couple of our primes and it worked

      Unfortunately you can’t. It doesn’t support certain cameras

  • @elevatedmediagroup

    Any chance you can test this out on a sigma lens? I'm worried they're too tight for the low torque of this setup

    • @ipg_rentals

      I would but we have cannon and Sony lenses.
      Sorry

      It depends on the camera you have will work with electronics. I’m sure they will have firmware update to use for all cameras

    • @ipg_rentals

      Unfortunately it takes a very long time to charge. Just keep leaving it on until it stops blinking.
