I'm very happy it finally came out, but those car and destruction physics early on in Next Car Game were insane.

@@husker6395 Wreckfest is too different from the early builds of Next Car Game, but I certainly hope we'll get a full game with that level of destruction on this generation of consoles. The NCG demo came out in 2013!
@JoaK its turned down only on "normal" damage mode, there is "realistic" damage option which allows you to lose tires and get your car destryoed with a single crash
@JoaK they didn't turn the damage down from the demo, you can still squash the car to a pancake. They introduced damage to parts like engine and wheels so your car is undrivable before it becomes a pancake. In the demo you could crush the car so the back wheels were touching the front wheels

Destruction Derby was one of my favorite PS1 games. It, Battle Arena Toshendin, Warhawk and RE1 were my entire PS1 gaming library for ages. 😄 Great times.
I miss the voices/comments they got in Destruction Derby 1 & 2.
And in the later ones, how you could get points for different things like rolling them over or landing on them, spinning them around and such. Wreckfest should have different types of racers. Well, they have that, but it seems like in a Banger Race, your end position is only measured by what position you crossed the finish line and not how many points your gathered.
I'm still in the Regional Juniors though, so maybe that'l change?

I get that concern, but ultimately, if you have PS Plus, you can claim it on the PS App, or the website. Is not console-dependent.

Just wish they would use the adaptive trigger functionality for the brakes so you can feel the pressure of the brake pedal the harder you press.
Is it confirmed that they aren't utilizing the adaptive triggers? Because that would be awesome.

Fr I was so hyped for destruction all stars but after I played a couple games I grew bored of it very quickly and I haven’t played it since February.

The split second you stop a playstation plus membership, you will have no access to anything you have downloaded from that list of games. You are only renting those games.

Wreckfest is the ps5 game for next month but I'm not sure how that's gonna work.
I'm pretty sure they did it on purpose to cash in on the $10 upgrade lol. Would be cool if for the people who already bought the PS4 version to get the $10 upgrade unlock as part of the PS+ monthly title instead.
It's the PS5 version. They did this with Destruction All-Stars, too - PS+ users got the game early.

@@SpiderAbu It's a fact. PS Plus Subscirbers are not entiltled to the PS4 version of Wreckfest, they are only get the PS5 version. Meaning they get the PS5 update a month early, and there is no upgrade path for $10 through PS Plus as it is already upgraded. Hence its only a PS5 game version.

On PS4, I had no trouble finding online races at all in this game. Can't wait to try it on PS5 next week.

This game was released in early access in 2014 for PC. It's been around for 7 years and is still popular. The company that made this also made a bunch of other games including Flatout, Flatout 2, and Flatout Ultimate Carnage. It's totally worth paying for.

I have it on 5 and the load times are pretty much cut in half a lot faster
