Well thought out vid. I enjoyed it. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I would give headlamps another shot.
They are great especially if you are hiking or walking around at night.
But still keep your flashlight.
2 = 1 and 1 = None.
That’s so cool. ❤
Glad you enjoyed!
Nice

Bro Your Camera Angle is Wrong need to be little downwards
Thanks for the feedback!
Very interesting. I hope you refresh your medicines every year. What about your fishing rod?
I do refresh them about every other year. Although I think some of those band-aids might be from the 90's.
What is the total weight of the pack when it's full?
16.82 pounds
Thatwouldbe myFood weight alone lol@@happytrailbackpacking
What was the total weight this time ?
16.82 pounds without food or water.
I noticed you have no Bug protection...Net or cream products. What do you use when in BUG season Thanks
Great question! I treat all my clothes in permethrin. It is a liquid you spray on your stuff and let it dry and will last for a few months or several washes. Other than that I don't really use much.
I use permethrin to treat my clothes and my tent. Permethrin is a liquid you spray on fabric, let it dry and is effective bug repellent for a few washes. I normally treat my stuff twice a year. Other than that I don't use any bug sprays, lotions, or nets.
Do your self a favor bring your camera up higher tilted down at your gear instead of you other than that good video
Thank you, I appreciate the feedback.
Very good video but you sound like a serial killer in the beginning
I don't get it.... why spent loads of $$ to get super light weight backpack, sleep bag, poncho, light weight titanium shovel, expensive light weight food bag, then proceed to use super heavy tent, cook set and flash light??
I will get there sometime. I have to use what I have until then. I want a new ultralight tent but they are $$$.
@@happytrailbackpackinghighly recommend checking out the durston x mid 2p. Under $300 and weighs under 2lbs.
The Durston is not free standing and is not as durable as the one he has.
I am looking into buying a Nemo or Big Agnes next season.
@@shawnsears7590 The durston x mid 2p is actually more durable than the one he has as with most of freestanding tents. X mid is made out of polyester which doesn't sag or wet out like nylon. Tent poles bend in high winds not like trekking poles. Those others are great tents but you won't get the same weight/ durability as with the x mid.
shut the hell up @psyamok3737
