- The Philippines reached the top of my list of most favorite countries after visiting 40 countries. Filipino people are among the most accommodating, welcoming, and kindest nations I have ever met. Even though Filipino hospitality & kindness is not new to me, I have met many expats in Dubai and knew what to expect from the country's people. 🙏🏽
I am so happy to be here and spend a few weeks around the islands to make the best out of my long-processed visa and share my experiences with you.

At 30:20, the lady said: "Salamat sa uulitin" (It's Tagalog, not Bisaya, literally "Thank you again" (although the man said "repeat" for "uulitin"). But in context, is "Thank you when [I see you / when you come around] again" or "…when we see each other again" ü
Following that at 31:50 the lady in red + hairnet ("Josie"-Bisayans pronounce "o" as "u") replied to you "Maayo man" (Bisaya): "I am fine/good/well" before she reached for the lid ü
The 1st soup is "…Mongo!" (mong-goh): Mung bean soup with moringa leaves ü The fried fish is "bangus" (milk fish) which also happens to be the man's-your seatmate's-dish cooked in clear soup. Bangus is a very bone-y fish, fine a lots of it, but you can get some "boneless" dishes where vendors or restaurants prepare them as such.
The male vendor at 49:38 said "…Yeah, yeah; like Guimaras mango…" in which Guimaras is yet another island in Central Visayas most famous for the sweetest Philippine mango variety :)
