Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this. I feel as if God is preparing me for adoption as I have a best friend who’s also infertile and has twin babies. I also have a counselor with an adopted baby, and I know other friends who are adopted, and one of our pastors has 2 adopted babies. My heart is yearning for a child. And the more years that go by the more I wonder about adoption but my husband says not til we have exhausted all resources 😞 I am praying God makes it clear what to do. We did an IUI which was unsuccessful and I’m just so tired of how emotional this all is. Seeing my friends get pregnant and have multiples, being a teacher and seeing pregnant moms all the time, it’s just hard. As you mentioned and I appreciate you sharing your heart, you know what it’s like. I love that you’re sharing your story. We will be 3 years ttc on March 3rd unless God gives us a baby sooner but I just got my period so looks like it’s 3 years for us 😢 man, it’s so hard. We just want to be parents. Been married 5 years in September. Never thought we’d have to go through this. Really appreciate your story and sharing your raw vulnerable side! Love what you said about how God said no to pregnancy so you could see the beauty of adoption, wow! That really touched me.

I’ve been told that I’d be selfish if I adopt because I’m infertile. This is a struggle because I don’t think that kids should be stuck in the foster system for ever. There are 350,000,000 kids worldwide that need parents.

I'm struggling to get pregnant and really worried, to be honest I don't think I can adopt because I really want the mother-child connection. I don't think I would feel the connection with adopted child. Maybe I'll change my mind when I'm officially diagnosed as infertile
I am so sorry for this heartache and struggle! I can completely relate as I felt similar. But once I knew the "natural" route wasn't an option, I couldn't wait to adopt and all those fears melted away! I'll be praying the same for you. You made this comment 2 months ago - any updates?
