Hooverphonic should à song like this for the esc 2021
This is SO much better than Release Me, this is IT for Eurovision! Please do something like this in 2021.
Then our broadcaster VRT has to shut up, because this was the song that the VRT declined. It was Hooverphonic their first attention to go with this song, VRT said no. They said Alex keep on writing and then came release me.
@@eviken1982 Hey, vanwaar haal je die info. want Alex had toch vrij spel gekregen van de VRT, en Alex lijkt me nu niet de man on zich te laten dicteren door de VRT.
@@dirkleduc2065 Wel het is wel degelijk zo. In interviews van songfestival.be zei Alex dat ze het lied hadden. Toen ze hem later vroegen, Alex was release me nu het lied. Alex zei neen de VRT vond het niet goed. Volgens Alex was het een ode aan ABBA. Gerrit Kerremans van VRT heeft het zelf toegegeven dat het lied waar ze eerst mee wilden gaan het niet goed vond. Dit is die ode aan ABBA. Alex zei eerst dat we dat lied nooit gingen horen maar zei daarna dat we het wel gingen horen. Hij had dit lied nog ergens in een kast liggen. Dienen Gerrit had gezegd Alex schrijf nog wat verder, op een gegeven moment hadden ze 4 liedjes en Luka wou release me en dan heeft Alex voet bij stuk gehouden. Dienen Gerrit is dezelfde vent die zei van haja bij Sennek zijn wij de act gewoon vergeten. VRT kent er niks van. Wat hebben ze al gescoord, Tom Dice, Laura Tesoro voor de rest zijn het meestal de walen die goed scoren. In die 64 jaar de VRT hun hoogste plaats is 6de en dat was Tom Dice, en dat door Maurice Engelen van Praga Khan. Hij heeft Tom Dice naar voren geschoven.
@@eviken1982 Ok, bedankt voor de info. De VRT heeft blijkbaar angst om goed te scoren of te winnen op het songfestival. Dan moet je er niet willen aan deelnemen.
De RTBF durft wel goede inzendingen sturen dus voor mijn mag de RTBF ieder jaar
een kandidaat afvaardigen i.p.v de VRT. Hopelijk volgend jaar een keigoed nummer van Hooverphonic en hopelijk trekt Alex zich er niks van aan wat de VRT ervan denkt!

Het is niet omdat hij een keer gewonnen heeft of Duncan dat het altijd zo is. Alex wil het bekend maken wat die ode aan ABBA is als het een hit zal zijn. Dan weten we het pas echt.

Great song. This would do so well in Eurovision.
Well they wanted to go this year with this song to Eurovision, our broadcaster VRT turned it down. Our broadcaster has absolutely no idea of what Eurovision is. It's much better then release me. The frontman said we had a song, we were very convinced of it. He named it an ode to ABBA, he said the VRT didn't like it and that he had to write other songs and it was release me.
