  • Big Tractor Power spends time out in the field with the new Case IH 2150S planter set up to seed 16 rows of 30 inch corn and 31 rows of 15 inch soybeans. This new for model year 2023 planter is operated by a 380 hp CASE IH 380 RowTrac MAGNUM tractor. This video reviews all the new features of the 2150S with a planter walk around with CASE IH.

    That's quite a planter. I'm thinking that all the planter manufacturers are going to go that same style of liquid fertilizer tanks? Fendt Momentum planters started it and they are narrow and hold way more. Very cool video Jason. 😊

    We had a 2150 24 row...JUNK!...Traded it in for a Kinize 24 row...Best investment ever..

    We currently run a 2150 12 row and it is junk. This is going to be our 2nd season with it and still having issues, dealer has been very little help and Case has not been much better. I have a list of issues that have went wrong and problems we have had. I would go back to a Kinze in an instant. Depending on what happens with Case this year I see another blue planter in our future

    I’m a micro farmer in méxico but still I’d like to own a micro planter with this futures, I farm about 300 acre and a four row would be ideal for me.

    Just don't like that narrow track on that magnum lol. But if you want plant at high speed this is the planter you need

    Jason, at the 25 second mark the corn planter is going around a what apears to be a corn field that is only several weeks from tassel. What am I missing here? Thanks.

      Guessing they are planting double crop soybeans

      Yep, double crop beans into wheat stubble ran most likely that day (if you like way in the background you can see a train of semis still parked at the edge of the field)

    It seems CNH is only interested in the large acreage farmers. Nothing for the small acreage farmer.

      The days of the less than 2000 acres row crop operation is pretty much over almost, it's all about volume now, I don't like how the game changed but that's how it is now

      Yeah ok we have all colors and sometimes deer parts are cheaper and sometimes the others are you never know to you get the stuff

      We still have these petty fights? All of them are pretty much the same these days, pick the best priced color and dealer you like and move on, be loyal to your wallet

      Deere is always ahead in the planter game. Always will be everyone else’s high speed doesnt even come close to the accuracy of the exactemerge the brush belt is a game changer

      It is a similar function as a 1795 but totally differ framing built by CNH.

      @@bigtractorpower yes I know but funny how the planter units fold down lile a Deere and the planter folds and hooks up like a Deere, but the tanks look like the new fendt planter has on them!!

    I'm never going to get used to, nor like the looks of those Case or NH tractors with the rear tracks no matter of they are useful or not. They're just hideous to look at as is the front end of the newer Magnums. Case used to have such great looking tractors with their old Magnum series.

      It is a good planter. Red customers are eager to put the 2150S to work in 2023.
