- As part of ✨ Luggage Week ✨ I’ll be heading to the one area of the airport that us cheap holiday fans all hate:
😭 THE DREADED BAGGAGE SIZER 😭
⛓️ Yep, the metal cages you may be asked to fit your bag inside to prove it’s the right size.
So let’s discover whether our favourite bags ACTUALLY fit in the space for a SMALL CABIN BAG (that’s the bag size you’re allowed for free on these airlines!) 😬
🆙 We’ll be going up in size so even if you don’t have this exact bag, you’ll be able to get an idea if your bag will squeeze inside.
So let’s kick things off with…
👜 20L 👜
40 x 20 x 25cm
AKA the ‘viral Ryanair cabin bag’.
Which… if we’re honest, is kind of the top end of what you should be allowed to fit in a small cabin bag baggage sizer 😂
Here’s what it’s contending with:
✈️ RYANAIR ✈️
40 x 20 x 25cm
✈️ EASYJET ✈️
45 x 36 x 20cm
✈️ WIZZ AIR ✈️
40 x 30 x 20cm
So… DOES IT FIT?!

📣 DROP ME A COMMENT…
If you have ever used one of these?
I see people go up to them at the airport and I am hissing at them to not do it as so often they’re in plain view of the staff 😂😂😂

Someone should make a bag that can adjust in size to meet all 3 exactly
It's doable by horizontal and vertical zipper. If someone can figure out the size, i can try to discuss with a bag craftsman
@@user-cd9rd7jb2z What..? The size information for all of these carriers is available on their websites
All soft bags do fit, even much bigger than allowed.
It has to fit in easily. If you have to force it in then they can still charge you.
It’s weird how the wizz air gives 5cm more than Ryanair but it looked like it has less space when you put the bag in
Wizzair is 5cm more in width while 5cm less in depth.
How strict is Ryanair? With other airlines I always came through with slightly too big bags.
What if -on the gate- they bring these boxes and drop on your bag to see if it fits in without being forced? Some said in past they did such practice occasionally. On the gate you have no possibility to bargain.
I have this bag. A lot fits in the bag.. But it is really really heavy to carry so will be buying a backpack for my next trip

here to make sure that ryanair bag fits for easyjet if full hahaha
*cries in 40x30x15* (with norse)
Do you think 40x20x25 fit in 40x20x15
It seems to me Europe flights bag limitations are so much smaller than USA. I fly with a 35L Pakt backpack and its passes as a personal item it’s fits perfectly fine under seat
Might be more of a ultra-low-cost thing than European thing though, on Spirit it felt quite similar to these ones, and seems to be the case with Allegiant too
@@chenseanxy I fly twice a month on any flights that’s the cheapest, majority of the time is spirit or frontier, and I only take my 35L backpack because those flights cost extra for a carry on or check in . Fits fine under the seats.
Easyjet and Ryanair never check the dimension of the backpack.
Obviously if you came to the terminal with suitcase or a very big bag they charge you an extra.
I usually fly with Northface Borealis (29 litres) or Samsonite Biz2Go 17,3” (35 litres) and i never had problems.
These sizes are more of just a suggestion, even 40 L backpacks are completely fine as long as they look like something you'd reasonably use daily
ohhhh, yeah, put it in there
Link to the backpack please!!
What about the suitcases? Would a 58-60cm suitcase fit in Ryanair's cage?
Funny
Wizz air really have 5 cm more ?
Where’s the overhead trolley suitcase fit in?
I’m sure mine can get easily in as well
Now something beatwine 20 to 30Litres backpack?? We say 25 litres??
I can bet you I can overfill that first one and it wont fit anywhere 😂😂😂
What about the cabin zero or cabin max brands?
great video! So rule of thumb is 40 cm x 30x 20cm to be safe
This size can go with all airlines?
@@user-cd9rd7jb2z CORRECT

@@user-cd9rd7jb2z yeah it will. I did it with easyJet
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Hebrews 9:27)
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 16:26)
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)
