the amount of focus Iga has given in her practice is so intense.... no wonder she can play so well in the tournament.... what a fantastic player..
not just her "practice" but maybe just her talent.. she takes the ball super early and with a lot more power than badosa in most instances....

Iga does not show any mercy even in practice.
Her opponent also looks stronger on some points every player had ups and down ...the most important she managed to win everytime .

Swiatek has got tremendous control and power with both Forehand and Backhand shots. Plus with great stamina, Swiatek runs like a deer all over the court!!! Extremely hard to beat her!!!Absolutely treat to watch her game!!! All the very best!!! Another trophy is waiting for you Iga!!!!
She also uses spin super well to create angles, so amazing
Especially on clay, that top spin appears to be especially effective. Like a female version of Rafa.
Iga’s backhand is a murder weapon. It should be registered with the police. What an incredible shot.

Swaitek is so quick, or reads the play so well (or both!) that she's able to play aggresive shots where many other players would be staying in the point. It's noticeable that she hits the ball much earlier than Badosa who of course is an excellent player herself.

In practice matches better players play casually and lesser players play very hard.
And u know who is a better player here.
But Iga was hitting some tough shots to be sure and she's the better player.
So true - you don't want to go full throttle and showcase all your shots - aim is to practice some of the less used shots like drop shots lobs serving for a particular spot, overheads etc. not sure what Iga was trying here

Great hitting , the womens game is nowhere near the mens level, they play less and yet demand the same prize money! This strikes me as being somewhat delusional and unfair for men everywhere. Personally I think they should compete in the same group if they think they are worth the same amount in monetary terms Or maybe they could create a better spectacle by wearing errrrr more errr interesting attire, I'm sure that would improve their game no end.........
