Thanks for that!
I tend to get not enough workers when I start educating my cims and they start to prefer office jobs. My fix for that is to enable the policy for educated cims to take those jobs, I believe it's industry 4.0.
Cool video I can't wait for part 2
Yes. And educated cims has benefits, like less garbage (according to chirpy). 😁 Thanks, Huey.
I normally get this as well but I don't know how to fix :(
@@ryanmuir9768 industry 4.0 normally works or just zone more residential
@@nerevarchthn6860
Low density Residential tends to favor Industry and Low density commercial. And if you limited in funds funds or haven't unlocked university, then you can select work over education. But this method have more trash cumulation.
I am also getting this problem after educating cims and its definitely not because I haven't enough residential.
Does "schools out" policy tackle the problem somewhat?
I’m in love with this channel. Every video is extremely helpful!!
Happy to hear that! Thank you so much, Jasabella. :)
these videos are very helpful to a beginner thanks for posting them
Great Video!! I now know why more then I did before! Definitely helped a lot!

Thank you very much! You helped a lot!
You're so much welcome. Thank you too ☺
if you have tons education buildings but not enough educated workers, make sure check to see if schools are to close 2gether of the same type, make sure spread them around. I found if you have 2 same building near each other it causes issues as 1 will fill and the other will have 0 students.
Helps alot thanks. ur a great youtuber
Appreciate the compliment 😊. Glad to be of help.
Great video!
Thanks :D
Very good video, with the precise explanation, since they are all common questions of problems that arise at all times. Thank you
Thank you too, my friend 😊
Ah yes the typical one my city is with is the “not enough educated workers” managed to get my way around it with the help of this video👍🏼. They usually pop up and disappear and then reappear again not sure what’s happening because all my schools and neighborhoods are close together with the commercial and schools are to. Got 2 elementary and 2 high schools and 1 university.
It usually resolve when your citizens get educated. Educated citizens take lower jobs with no problem, plus they pay higher tax and make less garbage 😅
@@RickyKingPlays Though there is a delay before they actually take the job.
I have the problem of "Not enough buyers for products" and "Not enough products to sell" at the same time. I watched a lot of videos and I already tried to improve roads, train stations, even changed selling policies and nothing worked. I saw your video and I think I finally found the reason.
As I don't like how pollution looks, I only have forest industries in my city so I'm gonna change the type of industries and I hope it works!
Thank you💖😀
You're welcome, and thank you too, Michelle. I hope it will work. Feel free to ask questions, and I'll try to answer and solve them. Cheers!
I have this too. How to fix it?
@@skotinoulis4745 changing the types of industries so I had variety , worked out on my case.
Takes some time 'cause I made little changes so I don't increase my unemployed percentage a lot

Maybe I should run for Mayor of Ottawa?
Lol.
good help, wish it was voiced. But I DID see objects in the game I don't have Im on Switch version. Do I need to find DLC for switch or do I have to unlock more things?
Thank you. If its an item to be unlocked, it will still show on your tab but you cannot use it. Some items are also dependent on the map type you are using. But its probably from a DLC, lots of new items are from DLCs.
Still struggling with the not enough buyers with my ore and oil industry areas. I have 87% traffic, a cargo port and a lot of commerical zones in a 110,000 person city. I've added a bunch of warehouses too as I've read that can help. It just doesn't seem to matter. My industries just struggle.
The export is also thru highway connection and it takes time for the export truck to arrive especially when the industry is far from highway entrance. And we cannot control which will be the buyer (highway export, cargo export, or commercials). Just wait for a while.
Very nice
Thanks 😊
As for the cargo train, do I connect one end from industrial to commercial? Or industrial to industrial
Cargo trains do export for industrial, and do imports for both industrial and commercial, but often to commercials..

I heard that if you have Sunset Harbor, fish can solve your goods shortages.
That's a great point, since fisheries can supply goods directly without having to go through processors.
yo can you do a european city tutorial if you can? discovered ur channel today and i gotta say these videos are really helpful! :D
Glad to know that. Thank you so much 😊. Sure, I will do that. I'm actually doing a European city with combination of old neighborhood and modern layout. Hopefully I can finish it soon and share it here.
Thsnks dud i will not ever understand this game waithout your help you realy helped me alot im on ps4 we have 10%from the full game from pc🤣
Thanks man, glad to know that. It's always my pleasure to help especially fellow console players, I know the sentiment. :D :D :D
What if you don't allow the bars to fill up? I personally don't like seeing the bars above a third of the way.
You mean the demand bar? Yeah, it's better if they're all almost even, with the green always more than the two.
Since you preview the game from a console, how many tiles are you able to open?
Can you go more than 9 tiles?
Since there are no mods on console, no, you cannot have more than nine tiles on console. The 25 tiles and the 81 tiles are mods which are available only on Steam Workshop.
@@RickyKingPlays the steam workshop is for the PC, right?
I have only played the game on the console and not the PC, so understanding mods and dlc only started recently.
@@nivedprabhu5057 Yes, you are right. Mods are created by third party modders who upload them on Steam Workshop and CS PC players using Steam can subscribe and use them. The same thing with assets and maps.
@@RickyKingPlays well! I hope 3rd party designers/ modifiers see the work you are putting in, in your designs and come up with mods and dlcs
It's amazing what can be done in the PC but they should consider more options for the console
But my problem is that when i put the industrial area its not building any structure
4:44 what do you mean with generic industries and where can I find them?
Those are the yellow zone, without specializing into farm, forest, oil or ore.
@@RickyKingPlays oh thx bro
So I’m having an issue with the not enough buyers and not enough educated workers… I have a lot of IT Cluster and a significant commercial zones. If I delete either or, it will hurt industrial won’t it? And then unemployment for all those people losing their jobs..
For not enough buyers, it usually takes time for the buyers from outside, more so if you don't have export hubs coz they use the road connections to get to your products. Give it a time, or provide export hubs.
Just continue educating your citizens, it will solve it on its own. Educated citizens can take menial jobs too without a problem.
@@RickyKingPlays ok thanks. When you say export hubs you mean the cargo train, airport, and harbor? My population is only at 30,000 so I haven’t unlocked airport yet. If I install a cargo train where should I build it? Next to commercial or industrial? And have it run straight to the end of the map to connect to outside right? I’m sorry for all the questions lol I’m new to this game so I’ve been watching a lot of tutorial videos but I get confused by connecting train lines
@@eden20111 What you said is all correct. Cargo trains exports from industrial but imports goods for the commercials and also for the processors. It will be safe to place them in between. But I would say, you can place them conveniently anywhere as long as you have a very good road network.
3:28 this doesn't work. I checked it with ind/com buildings that were not connected to anything by road or transit and yet they were still hiring people as usual. In fact you don't actually need to provide PT to offices or industry and your city can operate normally even if all your cims don't travel to work. Sounds weird but I literally saw this happening
Haven't tried that. Were there pedestrian access to the site? Citizens will prefer transit, then walking, then cars.
It actually worked for me. In latest episode of New Seattle (Ep 12), I remove the metro station in the industrial area and Not Enough Workers problem happened on the far side of the industrial area. So i added another station (not shown in the video) and the problem was solved.
Anyway, I will do an experiment on what you are saying. I also like doing experiments like that. :)
@@RickyKingPlays There was no pedestrian or other connections at all, I just farmed 1000 1×1 abandoned buildings to unlock the observatory in my city. I thought then they will die firstly because of workers, but the jobs were filled in. I reckon this happened because the city was so large it hit the in-game pedestrian limit and the game stopped caring about job trips calculations (like really, there was no single person travelling to work and offices created ZERO trips besides service vehicles). It's only a theory, but there is a chance it won't happen in small cities
I am still struggling the problem "Not Enough customers". Even though I have a lot of commercial zoned areas and a lot of residential zoned areas (both of them have a lot of space for buildings). I use busses, and metro for transportation to the commercial areas, the buildings are getting abandoned. Could someone help? (I am on nintendo switch)
Build more residentials. Give it a time. Sometimes it takes weeks in CS time before they can reach their destination. Try also connecting it with paths.
@@RickyKingPlays Could you help me with not enough workers too? I am still struggling with it too, even though I have a ton of residential areas
@@Will7930s It can be symptom of overeducated workers. There is a considerable delay before cims take jobs of lower level.
I still have not enough buyers problem I have done everything and buildings are becoming abandoned and ruin the nearest I spent so long trying to build
Provide export hubs. If there are excess supply, it will do exports.
What does the gun looking icon mean???
The blue one? It means, "Not enough goods to sell".
🤔I don't get why there are already highways down when you begin the game...there is already traffic and nothing is even built yet,how can you already have a population with houses yet?🤷makes no sense...why does the game start that way? And is their a way to turn off the utility needs so you can just design the city. ,Like a freeplay mode with no rules?🤔
Those are traffic passing to and from (other) neighboring cities. Your first citizens will come from those cities thru existing highways. Unfortunately, you cannot turn off utility needs, but you can build with limited money and limited soil. That's the closest to a just-build mode we can get, particularly as a console player.
@@RickyKingPlays 😌yes because I like to build my whole city first before inviting the people 😁. Nope, wait til I'm done
Can you make part 3?
Sure. I'll take note of that. Thanks.
@@RickyKingPlays I have a question. If the Not enough workers is in commercial where do I put my line on commercial or industrial 🏭?
When is the release date?
@@animations230re2 Soonish. I'll do my best. Thanks for your patience 😉
I’ve been waiting a while for the “not enough workers” one and it won’t fix
If the green demand bar is high, zone more residential. Check the education level of your cims, you might need to put up more schools. Education takes time also, so wait for awhile.
@@RickyKingPlays yeah, I know, I have 23,000 cims, and not that many commercial zones and industrial zones, but it still says not enough workers, I also have the education centers ready and 89% of cims are highly educated.
@@theodorington wait for some time.
not enough buyers for products can also occur in office buildings
Thanks for the reminder. :)
@@RickyKingPlays IT Cluster, to be specific.
I have a Large City with 95,000 people but i only make 100$ in income how to fix this
Set the tax to 12% or 13%. See the budget bar and try to reduce those large amount budget, such as road to 50% if you have a good traffic flow. Or if ypuyhave excess power and water production.
@@RickyKingPlays i set my tax to that rate and also reduce the budget but i only make about 8500$ during the day and during night time I'm losing over 10,000 dollar, is my city doomed to fail?

Narrate please.
soon
Ricky, I hope you'll read this: HOW TO FIX TO GET MORE SUBSCRIBERS TO YOUR CHANNEL.
First off, you have produced a lot of excellent videos, especially tutorials, which deserve way more views, likes and subscribes then you currently have.
Maybe the problem is your "SILENCE". While to much bla-bla can be tiring, especially if the speaker doesn't get to the point. On the other hand, if I watch a couple of your videos in a row, say 4 or more (because you got all the right answers), I get tired of reading and trying to comprehend what I've read. I guess that's the case for most people ... and then interest is lost. Got nothing to do with "attention deficit", its just how things are.
So, consider narrating the videos. (please ? + ! ) IT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
if you don't have a cool voice, or if you have a heavy accent that no one will understand, or if you have any other speech-impairment, make use of an "text-to-voice" program. Here is an example: .../youtube@Hmuda
Good luck and may you get the first million subscribers soon !
