- Following an investigation into the death of Breonna Taylor, the Justice Department has arrested 4 Louisville Metro Police officers on federal charges for lying on a search warrant that lead to her death. The officers knowingly provided false and misleading statements on the probable cause affidavit to obtain the search warrant and then tried to cover it up after the fact. Taylor was killed as officers executed the search warrant, in which she was not a target.

Usually, police get a much lesser sentence than the average person. That should be reversed. They hold a public trust. In my opinion, anytime the police are found guilty of crimes their penalty should be severe. Of course, being charged with something does not automatically mean guilty. So, we'll see what happens. We must have police. No doubt about it. But, we must have police of integrity.

The officers serving the warrent did not obtain the warrent, they served the warrant. The officer that was shot first returned fire and Taylor was shot and died. Her boyfriend fired at the officers first, as he used her for a shield that is the point I was making.
