The Apparition and Rain are absolutely outstanding options for your next listen.

Start at the beginning and work through as they all tie in and there’s lots of Easter eggs and call backs. Two EPs called “One” and “Two”, two singles called “Jaws” and “The Way That You Were” then three albums called “Sundowning”, “This Place Will Become Your Tomb” and “Take Me Back To Eden”. They’ve done five covers that I’m aware of too. One being Hey Ya by OutKast, I Wanna Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston, Is It Really You? By Loathe and When The Party’s Over by Billie Eilish, Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. 🖤

That was a great back to back. These 2 bands you have to expect the unexpected. I found you guys when you did Opeth and as I was also earning about them. Not 1 regret.
I mean this with love and honesty. The other day my wife was doing the dishes and listening to Taylor swift which I don’t listen to. But I suddenly realized that sleep token is using nearly the same formula that swift is using in her recent records. The only difference being the obvious guitar and drum work. But otherwise it’s so similar it’s eerie. Don’t believe me go throw on Taylor swifts latest records. All of that said, I absolutely love it. For me take me back to Eden it’s the best record of the year. Also this record I think is about humanity and modern attitudes and obstacles. And how all these modern obstacles are devastating to our sensibilities as people.

People might get mad, but they're the modern equivalent of Deftones and they're just getting started. This album is like the White Pony of Sleep Token where they are solidifying their signature sound and getting a rightful boost in recognition.
