Nice reaction! Totally agree, Ale is so elegant and cool on stage and she's still a teen! Pau as always, beautiful vocals and she does it while drumming, incredible! and last but not least Dany, taking the back seat in this song but still with that tasteful guitar playing and great backing vocals. All three of them are simply amazing. 👏👏
All 3 of them are riveting in their own way. And yes, they are all very tasteful in their playing. Together, as a band, it's just magical. The superb vocals all around don't hurt either.
Love The Warning, so much talent! I like that in Japan it is not allowed to have your phone out or to record in anyway without explicit permission, just shows respect for the artist. I my case, I can't stand still long enough while the concert is on to film, at least for very long. I'm there for the experience, and I don't want to take away from that.
*23* , like many of their songs, is left open to interpretation... some have speculated the title is for the year "2023" while others have thought it references someone's age... i was not sure but have come to see it as being about the year "2023" because that's when Pau turned 21 years old... the lyrics "barely old enough to drink" are fitting in many locales where 21 is the drinking age... in DPA/TW's home area, the drinking age is 18, IIRC... anyway, this is certainly a song about caring deeply for someone from afar, holding back, and then realizing that, in the future, they will meet that someone again... how they will handle their feelings and memories and what may possibly happen... then again, while it sounds personal, maybe this song is about something they might have read or seen in a movie or TV show... after all, their song *Amour* comes from a 15 second clip of a scene in the movie "Ratatouille"... that scene has the camera looking through a hole in the wooden floor... there are two characters down there having a fight... maybe a lover's quarrel? i don't remember... anyway, they are arguing, they suddenly hug each other, and it is done; end clip... there's also their song *Wildfire* which was inspired by "The Hunger Games" movies... i think at least the 2nd one titled "Catching Fire"... DPA/TW have drawn inspiration from a lot of places... IRL, books, movies, games, etc 😹 this song has brought tears to many eyes... while being a powerful drummer, Pau is also a fantastic and very emotive singer... i don't go a day without hearing DPA/TW... they possess both, my heart and soul... I hear ya Red ... on the cameras (phones) I saw Them this past August... about 10 ft in front of Ale and the only phone shot I have is of Pau when They just came onto the stage..... other than that my phone went right back into my pocket because I could Not take my eyes off of those Beautiful Ladies that were hitting my chest like a frieght train with that Wonderful music !!! Yeah, bring Chelle back. Good reaction. The Warning is an amazing band with a huge future and a stunning past. All their live shows on THEIR CZcams channel are great, especially all 22 of the songs from this Teatro Metropolitan CDMX (Mexico City) concert in August of 2022. They really don't have any bad songs! I like some more than others, but they are really insightful lyricists and they truly understand music theory and how to structure a ballad or a rock song. Their 2019 Dakota Bar performances are EPIC. The 2018 *Queen of the Murder Scene* concert at Lunario is amazing. It was the debut of their concept album/rock novel. Their TEDx Talks at University of Nevada in 2016 and 2017 are legendary. The Enter Sandman Official Video (collaboration with Alessia Cara of Canada) is amazing. I'm 68 and haven't liked a band this much since the 1970s. They would fit right into that era.

Funny you should mention the "cameras" in the audience....fact is, the producers of this EPIC concert, with all this fantastic camera work actually used audience cell phone video and integrated it into the show....amazingly clever and well done. Can't remember which song or songs they used it but it is quite evident when you see it. Great reaction!!

I do enjoy your 'The Warning' reactions very much indeed, however, I just gotta say that there are too many people who think that one cannot enjoy a concert if they're videoing it. - that's not the case. Great reaction,but comparing Pau to Phil Collins is totally wrong - for one thing,Pau can sing - Phil - meh,another thing,Pau sings while drumming - Phil used to,but it's the main reason Gensis brought in a second drummer for live performances,to make it easier on Phil to sing - he rarely sang and played drums for years "Home By The Sea" usually being the exception. Obviously you're a fan of Phil Collins,myself not so - he just went too commercial for my liking,and his drumming suffered,sorry about sounding negative,just that if I had to choose a male singer/drummer it would more likely be Don Henley from the Eagles,as he shared vocal duties with the other band members - Genesis not so.
Pausing to complain about the phones is some real Boomer energy. If you grew up in this era you'd most like do the same. Hell, people wanted to do it in your/our era but we weren't allowed to bring any kind of recording devices into the venue... but we loved those bootleg recordings. lol
